QPR Tat 12:38 - May 24 with 5736 viewsBazzaInTheLoft

Just brought myself a QPR Rubik's cube.

What shite did everyone else rush out to buy with their deadline day QPR cash?

Where can you check how much cash you got? Or have I missed that deadline?

I once got a stick of QPR rock from Brighton which I kept as a collectable rather than eating and when I went back to my parents it had gone Very Manky Indeed.

Not a recent thing, but I was given a beach towel as a present which must have been fake because it had our year of foundation down as 1885. Tsk tsk.

It has lasted well, though, and even though dear Mrs R from Afar gave me a new and much nicer (and factually correct) one as a present recently, resplendent with the new badge, I still use the old one quite a lot.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I believe deadline is the end of the month so a week left to fill her boots.

I like the sound of those Guinness socks.

I was given a rather tatty piece of the QPR artificial pitch by Willy, the landlord of the Mail Coach when it closed down.

Ooh thanks. £7.70. Bought a nice hat for me to leave in the Crown and Sceptre next winter.

I’m surprised you didn’t have enough for Niko Hamalainen.

I got a QPR lunch cool bag. When it came it had a place to write my name and school class on it. I'm 55.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

I was surprised to find I had over £40 so bought my son the Binatone black shirt (the Brooks green and white hoops was not available in Medium unfortunately) and a new mouse mat. This replaces the one my wife had bought me which had a cluster of players including Rob Hulse. I never had the heart to tell her how shit he was in case that appeared ungrateful.

Quite surprised you only had £7.70 as its 50p every time you attend a home league game on a season ticket .
So that would give you £11.50 then around 3 to 5 % of your season ticket purchase price or around £15/£25 for a £500 season ticket.
I would have thought that even not including cup ticket purchases you would be around the £36 mark.

Got a QPR bucket hat with my remaining cash . Regarding tat, years ago I bought the white Lotto trainers with the Briatore flowing locks QPR logo in silver on the heels-wouldn't have looked out of place in Paul's Boutique!

By any chance, was it's best before date February 22?

I'm a bit irritated that they have a deadline at all to be honest.

I had to endure Peterborough 32 times this season to gain that cash.

That towel may not have been fake. I grew up knowing that QPR had been founded in 1885. It was only when we reached the cup final in 1982 that the club decided that we had been formed 100 years earlier. It seems that the club that eventually became QPR was formed in 1882, but the argument that QPR was formed in that year always seemed a bit suspect.
