Currently 1-1 away at Swansea and look very well organised and with a huge work-rate, if not particularly inspiring.

If we defend like we have been doing recently we will lose against this mob.

Rotherham nearly won it there too…

Letting Swansea off the hook at home looking criminal now. Rotherham have more than enough to beat us.

Classic Washington indecision when played through just now. Hugill first goal for the club surely nailed.

Poll: And it's hi ho

Not sure what Ryan Manning was doing for the Rotherham equaliser. Very poor.

Rotherham look decent enough but with vulnerabilities at the back. Unfortunately anyone with vulnerabilities at the back needn't worry when we come to town

30% possession but easily the better team. Fear for our feeble lot Saturday.

Ogbene will rip us a new arsehole if we play like we have since mid Jan

Saturday is looking pretty daunting now, tbh.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

They are inconsistent like the rest at the bottom. Agree they looked up for a challenge. Lucky they weren’t down to 10. Hopefully they’ve used up a bit of luck. Ainsworth will have them fired up. Just hope we can score the first goal. Need to keep the faith and stay positive. But tbf they did look quite agile up front. Ffs Saturday seems so far away. Hopefully with a full week of getting into them they may just understand what is required of them.

Rotherham are a poor side, we cannot say that's daunting.

Well, except for the fact that we currently look far poorer! Agree with the above: Ogbene will have a field day.

Bare bones.

I'm pretty daunted I've got to be honest.

We all know the script by now - Hugill will play a blinder and score then Conor Washington will come off the bench and score his one goal of the season to finish us off.

Poll: Where will we finish up next season?

Hugill last scored for Norwich in August and Washington has his career average 1 goal in 5 games this season. I think we all know how this is going to end...

I either don’t have any daunt left or the limits of daunt have been reached. How can one be daunted when one assumes defeat every week?

Bare bones.

I am surprised no-one has mentioned just how poor Swansea were in that match. Constantly giving the pall away trying to play out. Plenty of boos at the end as well so the fans are clearly not too happy.

Daunt is as daunt does.

To daunt or not to daunt, that is the question.

Ask not for whom the match daunts, it daunts for thee.

And this daunt is so big And so deep and so tall, We cannot pick it up. There is no way at all!

Only making the home games and not seeing a win since October my level of daunt is already approaching the danger threshold for the Watford game!

According to my Swansea ST holding Bridge opponent, Martin is totally disliked by the majority of their fans & they want him gone.

He dreads going to their games as much as I dread going to ours. However, I have a few pints of Proper Job beforehand to make the trip to The Bush worthwhile!

BTW (not aimed at you Croydon), Washington has scored 6 goals this season. The same as Dykes & more than any other of our players. Is it not time to stop ridiculing a player who left us a while ago & always tried?

Washington starting hiding long before he left as knew he was playing a level above his ability,

I think Darragh MacAnthony was the first to ridicule him and us when laughing about our ridiculous outlay on a player who scored 9 goals in League 1, now he's scored 6 so do we change our opinion again?

If you can get the £5m+ back we blew on him, I'll maybe consider changing my opinion.

A Rotherham strike force almost entirely made up of ex QPR and Brentford players. What could go wrong?

I'm not asking you to change your opinion. You're entitled to it. He is a League One player & it is not his fault Queens Park Rangers paid whatever amount they did for him.

Why do you (and others) keep mentioning him though? He hasn't played for us for four seasons(?) & has no bearing on our current situation. You never refer to Cousins for instance & he was a lot more waste of money than Washington. Of course, I was one of those very happy when we signed Cousins!

It just seems to me that some of you get a kick out of belittling certain people. I know that reads sanctimoniously, but I've stopped posting (most of the time) about Victor Bloody Mobley. Now that was the worst incoming transfer & biggest waste of money in the clubs history!

Panic - Rotherham got a draw

We have to get 7 or 8 points from 12 games - lets worry about ourselves, if we can't manage that we deserve to go down.

Just because he was such a stand-out poor buy, the money up-front and wages was just ridiculous and you could see that after 4 or 5 games, did we even watch him, word from the training ground was that he was a poor finisher within a similar time-frame, just how did we make such a poor decision.

Cousins had ability, Washington did'nt and I'd guess cost us at least double the amount of Cousins? Plus watching Washington labour the length and breadth of the country is hard to forget if not forgive.

No doubt he scores on Saturday now.

But he set up the Swansea goal; that's typical Manning. Going forward hes pretty good, tacking he can do IF and here is the big IF, if the play is in front of him.

If he has to run back or mark up before the ball is played behind him, then he wont anticipate the danger and reacts too late.

He is not really a LB; he's more a LWB or LM.

Classic Manning!
