Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread 09:11 - Oct 27 with 46641 viewsnumptydumpty

Weirdly, I am looking forward to this one.

We all know Rangers win the games they shouldn't and lose the ones that they should win.

Form wise, this is minimum five nil home defeat.

Strangely, I am optimistic.

But it's basically a free hit. We all expect to be annihilated. I have absolutely zero evidence that my prediction is even anywhere near possible.

But I am going for a Desmond. Two Two....

Yes I know. Definitely will keep taking the tablets !!!

Poll: Where will we finish next season ???

This all comes down to how many Leicester want to score. If they’re ruthless it could be double figures. If they’re on cruise control, we can maybe keep it down to three or four.

Or is this going to be the culmination of Gareth’s master plan to lull everyone into a false sense of security, and we smash them 1-0, with 1% possession, them scoring for us?

Now that's something you don't often see in the same paragraph: QPR's masterplan!

I think LCFC will rest players. Only problem is: those coming in will be fresh and eager. However you look at it, Ainsworth must now know what General Custer felt like before Little Bighorn.

Custer was expecting to win! ( mind you he and Gareth do have similar hairstyles)

I have a weird sense of calm about this game. Zen like levels of accepting our fate I think.

I’m equal parts excited and full of dread.

Very weird heading to LR with a sense of foreboding.

As others have said, it could be a watershed moment today.

We are like a car crash I don’t want to look but yet I can’t help myself.

Back in Oslo, well jet-lagged. Will watch the game on QPR+ as normal with the expectation we'll get another hammering. Not sure the small hope I often get just before a game when we have our better CBs playing, will come today. Do have the very faint hope that a bad defeat kicks our Board into changing the Manager and in a way that keeps us within FFP limits.

My thinking is very similar to PlanetHonneywood's in that a pointless red card is in the offing along with a 0-6 defeat.

The only 'master plan' I can envisage is eleven players standing on the goal line which will be extremely painful after five minutes let alone ninety minutes.

I am hoping that Leicester take their foot off the gas in the second half and go easy on us after first half carnage.

You will be rewarded. You'll be drinking in that sweet, sweet QPR victory while Leicester drink directly from all our cocks.

I f*cking love you mate.
This is my vote for post of the year.

If Steve Cook is fit, we might keep them to 3. Otherwise we play Field ch and probably play someone well below standrad like SDM in midfield. Maybe Paal on left side of 3 with Larkeche starting if JCS is out.

Feeling unusually optimistic. I think we’ll win today and this will be the start of a miraculous change in form that will see us climb out of the relegation zone!

Someone started early on the juice

I have every hope for the former, but the latter isn’t possible
With him in charge

So the former could actually be bad for the long term prospects. Can’t believe
I’m actually saying this on match day, very depressing

On a serious note, I do agree with you about the ‘long term’. A win today would be amazing, but long term is the real issue.

Not looking forward to this at all, but I’ll be there, supporting the team. It’s what we do.
