Watching from Austin airport.
Just about as one-sided a half of football as you'll see eh. Boro look a very good team as we knew in fairness. The way we have set up and are playing plays right into their hands however - and think we can all agree with the points Clive raised in the preview.
A good week regardless of the result today but the gulf in class has looked cavernous at best. Hope Stephan will rotate the team a little more in the next three-game week and go a bit more pragmatic in games like today. Not too disheartened overall.

At the same time, a few of our players really aren't on it today. Smyth has reverted to his old self, always picking the wrong option. RND having a bad game but I'm more concerned about Dunne and Glass-Salter - considering how much of the ball Boro have had, especially in and around our box, I've hardly heard their names mentioned and there are massive gaps between them and the full backs | |

Fair to say they have completely done us tactically. Plus they have additional quality. Kone looks unfit again. Saito is totally lost, and Smyth's decision making on another level of bad.
Think we will have to change formation, maybe 3 at the back 3 in the middle haul Kone off and play Saito Dembele or Poku as a 10.
We need to be bit more dirty and firmer in our tackles, quicker in our passes.
