| Harry Kane 20:52 - Jul 1 with 8406 views | numptydumpty | Appreciate there is an England thread and also appreciate we are on a QPR fans forum, but i think its got to be said Harry Kane is quite an incredible footballer. His figures at club level and in internationals are insane. You never ever hear any dirt on the guy either. I believe his wife he has been with since his school days. He was incredibly.loyal to Tottenham and look how they have been doing the last two seasons without him. With better players around him at Bayern Munich, he has taken his game up a level and the guy seems nerveless also. Has also become the leading voice for his players and yet he is not as lauded as Gascoigne was, or the likes of Beckham and Rooney. I still very much doubt we will get much further but clearly with Kane amongst England ranks they will always have a chance. If he wants to spend his semi retirement back in London W12, anyone got his number ?? [Post edited 1 Jul 21:04]

He really does. A very inspirational speech too. Well done Harry.

My dad used to say what does he do etc, then I just said just watch him. Changed his tune. Working with the local kids in the park tonight. Mostly Hispanic going on about should have been Mbappe or Limahl. Told them they know fcuk all about football, in my head. [Post edited 27 Oct 0:13]

Remember when the trendy comment was that strikers peaked about 27?
| Harry Kane on 04:34 - Oct 27 with 1337 views | PlanetHonneywood | Yet to score a hattrick inside 15 minutes against a team top of the Championship! If I were Kone, I'd be a bit miffed. That said, when Harry hangs up his boots, England will truly miss him. Humble, honest, and not a hint of sleaze or William large testicles behaviour either. Well done Harry. | |

Now also has a few trophies so quieten the morons on social media with their crap copied memes. The more England players that play overseas the better it will be for the national team. The premiership flogs players and its no accident that the England players carrying injury problems at the world cup were home based players like Rice and Saka. A brilliant achievement to win such a coveted prize. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I know what you mean but giving the Ballon D or to the lead singer of Kajagoogoo would have been a bit of a shock.
| Harry Kane on 07:56 - Oct 27 with 1060 views | denhamhoop2 | Fantastic well deserved 73 goals in 65 games a very humble person. Just shows how little Redknapp knows about football in that he thought Soldado was a better forward and would've sold him to Norwich if theyd paid 500k | | | |
| Harry Kane on 08:26 - Oct 27 with 1000 views | gazza1 | Fantastic player......deserves whatever he gets, proper person. Kids wanting to be a good pro footballer and a good man generally should watch him and behave accordingly. I remember watching him play here for Spurs in an FA cup tie a few years ago, got a lot of grief from some R's fans but as good as stuck his fingers up when he scored, if I recall rightly, a neat header and got a second as well. I am very pleased for him. | | | |
| Harry Kane on 08:59 - Oct 27 with 918 views | Konk | A really top bloke and a fantastic player who as well as scoring a ridiculous amount of goals, is probably one of the best English passers of the ball I've ever seen. A brilliant example to kids as a person, a footballer, and of the importance of working hard to make the most of your talent. Chuffed to bits for him. | |

| Harry Kane on 09:31 - Oct 27 with 849 views | johnhoop | Really glad he won it because it’s so thoroughly deserved and as Konk said, apart from all the goals his passing ability is truly exceptional. The long balls he would often play over over the top for Son to run onto and score at Tottenham were usually precisely into his stride. As an aside I think I have a vague memory of a thread on here while he was still getting loans at Tottenham. Some were saying we should try to get him on loan but others were questioning if we needed another “Spurs reject.”! | | | |

It's getting closer, Brian. To think, if the person writing the winner's name on the card was dyslexic, we were only three vowels from it being Kone, not Kane! #itscominghome

Pretty sure that was a league game in 14/15. Think it was actually the last time we played Spurs. The last time we played spurs in the FA Cup was in the early 80's. Can't remember the score.

"In my view England's best ever all round striker." I think we're getting very close, if we're not there already, to this just becoming an inarguable fact rather than an opinion. He might retire with twice as many goals for England as the next English striker!

| Harry Kane on 13:38 - Oct 27 with 368 views | TK1 | If we're making a big deal nowadays about individual awards in a team sport, then fair play, he's a good lad, nice fella, sensational striker. Individual awards are weird, though. Football is a team sport. You get medals when your team wins, no other time counts. No fan can be invested in individual awards, can they? Really? Nobody is singing about someone's POTY bauble are they. Nice do at the end of a season, of course, but come on. Found the level of hype around it yesterday mentally ill. It's the Fabrizo Ramonofication of football. Here we go! Who is going to win an award judged by, checks notes..."a specialized panel of international journalists." Great players leave average teams so they can win real medals in sporting competition with better teams. Like Bayern Munich. Stan Bowles is arguably QPR's greatest player, had a tremendous few seasons in a brilliant QPR team including our highest ever placing - but he got relegated with us three years later in a dog awful team. I love a great team. Find the fetishising of individuals above teams very odd, a bit sick and it seems to be much more prevalent now than in previous eras (when there were also some good players). | | | |

Agreed but..... no way that Warnock squad wins the title in 2011 without the mercurial talents of Senor Adel Tarrabat Much more difficult these days but sometimes team's are carried by one stand out individual.
