Halfway through the series, and it's very good - the social media aspect is excellent, and it's really moved with the times. A couple of caricatures who aren't as solid as 2012 or W1A but the themes they're covering mean they mostly get away with it. |  |

More mixed review from down under - some of it v good but felt like Jamie Lee Curtis was in a different show and way over cooked. Think could settle into good series though. My wife has read the books & struggled a little with the difference.
We’re nearly through Detective Hole from Jo Nesbo books - Norwegian & subtitles but think that is staying close to source material & actor playing Harry is v good.On Netflix |  | | |

We watched I Swear (Netflix) last night. It had us in tears, not just the sad, early stuff when he was just a kid, but what he went through in later life and his eventual redemption.

The Pitt on HBO is bloody brilliant.
Burned through Series 1 in about a week.
Munching through S2 now -- not as good as S1 so far but compulsive.
I never liked ER as it was all shouty medical terms but weirdly The Pitt is that but plenty of other things as well plus the continuity of sub-plots draws you right in. |  |

Pretty good on the whole, fairly linear plot with some very good acting. Only six episodes so it doesn't outstay its welcome.
Planning to move on to Mr Inbetween next, which has been recommended to me. Aussie comedy/thriller about a hitman. | |

Just for balance I did not rate this one.
Some poor acting from the lesser known cast and the use of flash backs destroyed all the pacing of the main story (which wasn't that strong tbf).
But, my missus liked it, so what do i know?
