David Bardsley. Get him over. Get him in.

In my humble opinion we should be getting the likes of Steve Gallen, Kevin Gallen, David Bardsley and Terry Fenwick back to the club.
Great opportunity for us to get back to playing the QPR way.

Are Jasper Clinkscales and the equipment monitorer staying?

They're monitorering the situation.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Christ. I loved the Bard, but most of the stuff on here has been about players playing with a smile on their faces again. Listened to Bard on the podcast and he was the most monotonous, negative, downbeat person i've ever heard.

Bare bones.

Steve... was only out there 4 months.... maybe he is homesick and missed Acton.

If he's missing Acton - he's very sick - almost terminal,

Good grief.

What are they going to make of being told that the way to beat Norwich is to pull an ugly bird and hail down a taxi?

I think he has a bit more to him than that, he hasn't achieved what he has achieved on the back of a few one liners.

Ah, Nostalgia... It isn't what it used to be...

Fans like me will buy into the nostalgia.
I'm sad for JFH as he gave it his best, and wish him success.
I felt the same about Warnock.
Delighted Ollie is back. Great article by Clive on this.

Did Bircham earn all his coaching badges before going to the USA?
Not that there's any substitute for experience (which he now has).
I always thought (from afar) that Steve Gallen leaving the club was a mistake.

So we could have the most storied, dedicated and personally emotionally invested management and coaching staff since before the ABC loan... But will the players respond to that enthusiasm and care?

As someone said before, Bircham got his coaching badges years ago, started them while he was still playing I believe.

Yes he has. If he doesn't get a strong coaching team around him he will fail. He is not suddenly going to improve and passion will only get you so far. But it is important.
Who was his coach at Blackpool as that was the only time he's been successful.

Maybe I was a little harsh in my assessment of his successes. I hope I'm wrong and I'm certainly in the minority but I have doubts about his ability, hence why he needs a good experienced right hand man

As long as the players believe in the methods, and tactics, he will be fine.

That would be the same with any manager though if they don't get their staff right they will fail.

To say Blackpool was the only time he was successful is ridiculous though, he did well with us, plymouth and Bristol Rovers.

In his last full 3 seasons at this level he's won 2 promotions and got to a playoff final where he lost to West Ham. His record is similar to that of Warnock when he came in
