To me the biggest problem we have is Eze at the moment. It seems that all the plaudits he was receiving during lockdown has gone to his head and he thinks he can stroll around the pitch doing nothing. I’d drop him for the final few games and give Chair a final run for the season which he deserves. Overall though pretty much the whole team have stopped doing what they were doing well during the season. On a positive though is that Kakay has taken his opportunity well and Lumley despite the woeful defending in front of him looks back to his best. We certainly are missing Hall as a captain, Barbet isn’t a leader at all. I have a funny feeling once Hall and his agent realise that the big bucks ain’t out there he’ll be knocking at the door again.

Eze was our top tackler yesterday so I'm not sure I'm buy him being "lazy"

He's been below his best since the restart, but there's a lot of conjecture being passed off as fact here

He's another Tom Carroll the only midfielder with bollocks to get the ball deep from the back 4 but gets pelters from the fans

What Tom Carroll who can't get into the Swansea team and has gone out on loan?

Getting the ball from the back 4 and doing nothing with it isn’t an achievement, anyone could do it.

I agree with Warburton - thought Amos, Kakay and Lumley all did ok today. Most of the rest played well below what they are capable of. Wide men BOS and Shodipo have some excuse as they are so clearly out of position played as front men. Amos won the ball and distributed it fairly well, while Eze, Cameron, Barbet, Manning and Ball's passing was frequently atrocious. Hope they all get some rest before Tuesday, because so many today played like they were well hungover. And that's being charitable.

Amos probably had more touches than anybody else. He was always available, in space. But where were the options to play forward. Eze, Shodipo, Oteh and, for large parts, BOS were anonymous.
Amos us weak in the tackle and misplaced some passes which is why he wont ever be good enough for PL.

There were far too many considerably worse on Sat.

Yeah I don't really get the specific beef with Amos on Saturday, but we were so so crap overall I have no enthusiasm for defending anyone

Amos wasn't great but he wasn't the worst. Amos always reminds me of Mikele Leigertwood. Talented but not really a game changing midfielder in any respect.

Never knowingly right.

I really rated Tom Carroll. Made us tick that season, constantly recycling the ball and playing progressive passes forward. Received it well in tight spaces and relieved pressure. I don't see Amos doing that enough to justify his inclusion in the team.

I thought he was better on Saturday than against Wigan, but over the season he hasn't offered enough IMO. He is meant to be in there for his passing range, but Dom Ball has used the ball more progressively whilst also offering defensive cover (not that any of that has been on show recently). If Amos isn't offering that passing game, what else does he do?

I specifically pick out Amos because he is a loan player and hopefully wont be here next season. Bench him and bring in one of our own . Amos is soooooo weak!

Might be worth a go.

Manning was just as bad as Amos on Saturday but maybe the switch would revitalise him.

Comms team hinted that there wasn’t enough movement in front of him

I’m not buying that at all ... he’s dropping deep and collecting the balls in non dangerous areas with bad body shap.... his first instinct is always backwards or sideways, and he only seems comfortable passing forward when he has a lot of time and space

Did the comms team consider how his lack of forward intent has lulled players like Oteh to sleep... why even bother making a run if you’re never going to get it?

As a separate issue, I’ve watched most of Amos minutes this year and I have yet to see him slide tackle even one f***king time. I’m sorry, no more . Play bettache, play chair deeper.... he’s just killing this team

And not to single him out bc a number of others should be embarrassed with their performances today- manning, Eze to name but a few

Not going to defend Amos particularly, but Paolo Maldini always felt a slide tackle meant he'd failed at his job. I'm inclined to agree. Fans love it - I love a good slide takle - but it's like the goalline clearances Terry used to make - big crowd pleasers, but usually it was because he'd been too slow to position himself to mark correctly and had to run past his own keeper to try and ectify the situation.

Having said that, Amos does not do enough of anything well enough.

Bare bones.

I don’t know about attitude, but I do know he came out to Qatar to rehabilitate after a very serious injury. By all accounts he was on Poch’s radar at Spurs and played in the Prem for them prior to being crocked.

A chap I know here is mates with Amos, speaks highly of him as a person. ACL injuries are not the end that they once were, but I wonder if he’s fully recovered both physically and mentally? A second injury could be curtains for him and understandable if he’s a little hesitant shall we say.

Oh and we’re QPR, and no one can turn a good player bad better than us!

In a football sense, I think he is mentally fragile. Whenever a decision goes against him, his face betrays his lack of self belief and a sense that the world is against him.

He could do with a few sessions with Steve Black.

I'm not sure about that.
As others have said, he had a very bad injury. Sometimes that tales a bigger toll than we realise. He seems like a good pro to me.

Bare bones.
