Hope it's not the Oxford one.
Still haven't forgiven them for 1986.

Anyone else on here got one yet

Another for team Oxford. Had a headache and felt tired the next day. Arm ached like someone had hit me. Other than that I was fine.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Here in rural France they are well behind UK.

Phase 1 - underway - over 75s in care homes + their care staff
Phase 2 - mid Feb - Over 50s with underlying health conditions
Phase 3 - no start date over 65s, That would be me and Mrs

I was due it Monday but cancelled after I got an infection and was sick for a few days.

They are doing over 60's here now if under St Thomas/ Guys that's pretty fast really but lots of reports that up to around 75% of ethnic pop not booking or turning up.

Allegedly.

A letter came through the door the other day from the NHS inviting my Nan for her first jab. Tbh I’m a bit concerned about taking her along as she’s been dead 15 years. Just how good are these things?

Team Oxford last Saturday - was rough as a dog from Sunday onwards. Finally feel human again today. Interesting that my resting heart rate was up 10% during that period so body clearly fighting an alien...

I got mine yesterday. Very sore arm today had a bad headache last night..
Very well organised in and out in 10 mins.
Just 1 minor criticism.

I understand that the NHS made the rules and have to adhere to them.
But I wish she hadn't stood 2 metres away from me and thrown it like a dart

Have to say I watched a news feature about people being trained to give the vaccination and it looked just like that! In fact I shouted out, "one hundred and eighty!"

Had mine last Saturday evening (Oxford one). Had flu like symptoms (hot one minute, freezing the next) for about a day after and felt like I had been punched in the arm for a couple of days but all good after a couple of days. Well organised, in and out in a couple of minutes.

Turns out my mate was taken to the Doctors as a child because they thought he had asthma (he hasn’t) so it looks like he slipped in because of that.

Vaccine saturation has been impressive but I credit it that to the Nurses pulling 6 and 7 day weeks and not any other factor.

Had my jab on Friday, ( Pizer ) not my local docs but a health centre a couple of miles away, very efficient, in and out in less than 30 minutes, so far fingers crossed no side effects other than slightly sore arm where the jab went in for 24 hrs.

Cannot praise highly enough the nurses and other staff, few weeks wait for full effect to kick in but like a heavy weight lifted off me shoulders.

I ah Pfizer today - for those who know the area I had it at Bury St Centre in Ruislip.

All the staff professional, friendly and very efficient - top class.

That was 4 hrs ago, no side effects at all as I write.

Mrs Pinner had the Oxford one a few days ago - she had "heavy legs" for half a day, otherwise fine.
