Ah yes, but 3 slices too much!
2 for me this morning, one with “spready” cheese, one with honey. Sweet and sour!

I have the same problem with eggs
Always go to the cafe for a full english on a Saturday morning.
If I order 3 fried eggs, I run out before the end, but 4 is just too much.

Best bit though is having a slice of toast left over at the end with marmalade
The perfect palate cleanser

Never found 'good' bread right for toast. When I get a hankering for a couple of slices, I have to pop out and buy a plain sliced white.

Marmite over melted butter. Can't whack that.

We get Warburton's Toastie bread. The slices are slightly smaller so I can then have three.... marmite, peanut butter and honey.

Damn..... going to go to the kitchen now and put some on :)

Why would you need 'Toastie' bread??

Surely a slice of bread is a slice of bread!

I thought this was going to be another sacked manager thread!

Wholemeal medium sliced bread (nearly always too thick these days but that’s another topic) - buttered and topped with Sardines.

Two slices for me:
1 with butter (not melted) and a slice of gouda cheese.
1 with a substantial smear of Danish liver pate.

We actually bought them for making sandwiches for our kids as they're a smaller size.

I had toast for me tea last night, four slices with air fried crispy streaky bacon strips in between said four slices, the air fried crispy bacon strips are in all honesty bloody gorgeous.
Only had the air fryer about a Month but what a brilliant bit of kit.

No limit on the amount I can eat, thickly covered with country life, let the toast slightly cool before spreading so the butter doesn’t soak in.

Instant Vortex Plus with ClearCook, they're are loads of different types on the market but they have been selling out fast, I always thought they were a bit gimmicky but I was wrong they are economical to run and there's nothing they can't cook, Incredibly clean way of cooking.
I used Youtube to great effect re recipes, Mrs Ted reckons I'm like a new Man either that or she want's a new Man.

Is Warburton's toastie bread consistent? Does it let you down eventually, after being good for so long?

We have a Ninja, Pete. Couldn’t tell you if they are the best or not - we saw an advert and bought one. They are a bit of a game initially, but when it works - by jingo! What the thing needs is a recipe book using imperial measures. There is a website - Cooking Circle, or something, that seems ok. We’ll be using it more in the colder months.

It’s a big so and so, about half a Dalek, so you’ll need space unless you can leave it out. Cooks for four at a push depending on what you fancy; slow/pressure cooker will easily provide for a big family. Very quiet with no overwhelming smells. We need to practice here a bit more. When it’s good it really is good; I’d say that’s down to use and experience.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?
