Rest of the Championship thread by Hunterhoop 10 Aug 2024 11:07Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?
For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?
Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.
Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

Jeffrey Schlupp to Norwich, good signing for them. I was kind of hoping we might be able to pick him up as he can play in a couple of positions we could do with strengthening. Always felt a bit above our pay grade.

Yes and I'm guessing V expensive wage costs. I doubt he's leaving a Prem club for much less than he was getting. However Norwich's defence was pants last season so needed some emergency aid. |  | | |

Ronnie Edwards by 1teeminants 27 Jul 8:50I’ve noticed he’s been playing at right back the last two games. He was outstanding for QPR last season at centre back, was called up for England U21 to play at centre back and we play him at right back despite having plenty of other right backs.
Very strange.
On the Southampton thread theyare saying hes been played RB to get some minutes as they are overloded with 8 CB and RB a plenty.
