Rest of the Championship thread by Hunterhoop 10 Aug 2024 11:07Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?
For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?
Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.
Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

That Saints team that lost on saturday had Ronnie Edwards, Harwood-Bellis, Downes, Manning, Azaz and Armstrong all starting plus Joe Aribo and Tom Fellows on the bench.
Any semi decent manager will be able to come in and start to rocket up the table when they post back to back wins against Rob Edwards Middlesbrough and Alan Sheehan's Swansea |  |

Our cause not being helped by Derby winning four on the bounce, Blackburn three on the bounce and Birmingham winning consecutive games 4-0. I have reservations that Southampton, Sheffield Utd and Norwich will stay down at the bottom so still time for us to be sucked into the danger zone. City's injury crisis is mental. Following last night, they have 2/2 LBs out, 2/4 CBs out, RB who has been covering at CB was hobbling for the last ten minutes, the bloke who usually covers at RB went straight to hospital when he went off injured last night, and 4/5 CMs are out! |  |
