| Manager on 17:01 - Nov 8 with 7493 views | Hooping_Mad | He's learning very slowly on the job. Hamer was the right move, as was Dunne in the middle and Ammadou at RB. It's progress but we are toothless up front unless Burrell can pounce in 6 yrd box | |

| Manager on 17:08 - Nov 8 with 7395 views | Logman | Had to be Saito for Dembele. And Smyth probably a better option than Frey. But JS is rapidly regressing towards neolithic football. | | | |
| Manager on 17:33 - Nov 8 with 7120 views | DieByYourSide | Harsh. Think he's taken steps to address issues in recent weeks. Hamer was excellent and Mbengue made us a lot less stodgy going down the right hand side. Dembele was frustrating as always getting knocked off the ball but could easily have had a goal and an assist on another day. | |

| Manager on 17:39 - Nov 8 with 7046 views | Lblock | They earn their corn halftime and in game subs / tactical changes don’t they? That second half was terrible and I was hoping after a just above average first half we’d take it to them second half and beat a team clearly bereft of confidence. Instead we came out and sat deep. The subs were scandalous and how you could prefer Vale to Smyth I have no idea. Having said that, I’d hope people can now see how poor our squad is and if Kolli can’t even make the bench with the paucity of alternatives up there then he should be putting in a transfer request. Good job I’m only two beers deep otherwise I’d be rolling out the surrender monkey trope. Not happy!!! | |

Your points are right, but your conclusion makes no sense. It's less the squad than the unfathomable tactics!

Just for some perspective we had 13 points at this stage last season.

| Manager on 18:54 - Nov 8 with 6544 views | baz_qpr | It's amazing how much better our players get when they are not in the team. Saito has been off the boil since his Japan debut where he performed poorly, Smyth you could have argued for on the right instead of Vale, but Vale more likely to give you an assist. No issues from me for selection | | | |

In the second half, players are getting tired, the game is opening up and…we bring on Frey. You really don’t have an issue with that?
| Manager on 23:07 - Nov 8 with 5837 views | Stocktake | We paid a decent wedge for Saito and should doing everything to get him firing again, including bringing him on against tired legs. Hard to fathom. | | | |
| Manager on 23:15 - Nov 8 with 5802 views | ozexile | He clearly just wanted to arrest the slide. Poor. More points potentially dropped due to fear. | | | |
| Manager on 23:28 - Nov 8 with 5740 views | rbee | Julien has got himself all tied up. Five team changes every game is utterly ridiculous. Stick the team rotation where the sun doesn't shine and play your best 11. Everyone played ok today but ok doesn't win you three points. Julien has to untie himself and figure out why our form has dropped. Ironically with players coming back from injury he has had more players to choose from. As dmm said earlier Kone is getting bugger and all to work with, this guy scores goals so we need to be giving him chances. So much to work on but this squad has already shown this season that they can do a lot better than the rubbish served up this week. | | | |
| Manager on 23:44 - Nov 8 with 5690 views | bosh67 | Don't be fooled by the calm quiet talking and the smiling, Stephan I think is a bit of a beast behind the scenes. I think he is a lot tougher than any of us think. I don't think he takes any sh*t off any of the players and we're kind of seeing that in who gets selected and who doesn't. Recent results have not been good but they did at least fight and arrest that a bit today. I think he's potentially a lot stronger character than Marti was in terms of riding storms. We have to give him time. He'll probably be sacked in the break now I've written this but I kind of like the fact that he's a bit of a quiet assassin behind the scenes. It keeps players on their toes. | |

Don't see any evidence of that myself. Excludes the youngsters, because they are easier to exclude. Plays the big money players that Nourry wants him to play. Marti much more forthright in his decision making - even if it was the noose around his neck.

And a way worse squad , with this squad it should be better than it is the subs today were to protect a draw and not go for a win , he pretty much admits it today was not about winning but not losing. The subs proved that totally .

| Manager on 04:31 - Nov 9 with 5463 views | ozexile | I've no idea how much Saito cost, but was expensive. Did we not buy him to win us football matches? Stage set perfectly for him and he's on his butt. This football club baffles me. | | | |

1 or 2 changes due niggling injuries, tactical or form I totally get, but this incessant 5 or 6 changes per game is madness and killing us. I always thought a good team was built on partnerships to create understanding. In a way we want more injuries to stop this continual rotation, and it's no surprise our best run came when he couldn't meddle as much. As for Kone, well, only QPR would buy a sought-after goal scorer and play him deep. I think JS is trying to be clever. Look at me with the team rotation, inverted wingers, CM at LB, and ST as 10.

| Manager on 07:07 - Nov 9 with 5314 views | QPROslo | To give Stefan some credit, some of his changes worked well today: Hamer for Nardi. Switching Dunne and M'Bengue Cook for Morrison Field for the unavailable RND Dembele was good. Varane was good. I'd have preferred Smith or Saito to Vale as sub and Kolli or Benny to Frey. But I think the point was ok reckon SU will be beating a few others and climbing the table. | | | |
| Manager on 07:21 - Nov 9 with 5275 views | PlanetHonneywood | I just can't envisage a reason why you'd have brought Frey on yesterday. Possibly a bit of height at set pieces, but other then that, he offers nothing. That game was there for the taking and we bottled it. It beggers belief that if you're playing Kone deeper, that you think Frey can replace him at any stage of a game, especially one where its winnable, and he'll increase your chances of victory. Overall, we got what we deserved. Anyone who goes there currently with a bit more determination will also leave with their dues and that'll be three points. I wonder if Kone up top and Burrell out on the right might see us better utilise their assets? Thought Chair had a far better game and Dembele shows why he should play one minute and why he shouldn't the next. | |

What he's not grasped, which Marti eventually did, is that games in England are played to the last second. Marti said in interview once, that if a side were two-down after 65 minutes, that was game over on the continent. In England, that's not the case and if anything, it's often getting started. Jules need to grasp that and realise that closing shop early is often more dangerous than prudent. Also somewhat ironic that after 70 minutes, we also seem to be rather leggy!
