Well that might explain why RND didn't play at Norwich. But now Field will be out for a good few weeks, so...

Rangers did have 3.15pm Saturday kick offs in the early 60's, but they had disappeared by the time we won the third division & league cup. I think the reason for the later start was that the pubs in Shepherds Bush closed at 3.00pm! [Post edited 1 Dec 9:41]

I did not know about the 3.15 KO, slightly before my time. Always thought HT was 15 mins, but now you say it, ten rings a bell

You could probably say that about most subjects these days, there is never any middle ground. I bash heads on twitter with Matt WInton a lot and I don't really have any problem with him supporting what Nourry and co are doing, I'm not blind to the good stuff but I do think some of the revising of history over Marti's time at the club is a bit ridiculous. For me, where I can't get on board with Matt is the notion that if you are in any way critical of Nourry/Williams or question what they are doing that you have an anti QPR agenda and want the club to fail. That's just complete cobblers but something he regularly accuses me and others of. I find that just really petty and vindictive on his part, he's old and wise enough to know that's rubbish but continues to push that narrative. Anyway I think it is very important that the club explain why Furlong has gone, that statement for his departure was basically a PR piece about the excellent aggresive recruitment was just pisss poor and said nothing as usual.

"I do think some of the revising of history over Marti's time at the club is a bit ridiculous." It's completely ridiculous. Has everyone forgotten that Nourry was desperate to take the credit for recruiting Marti? Now they're trying to portray him as some sort of dud who had to go. It's all smoke and mirrors.
