Southampton haven't yet denied these allegations!
For anyone who doesn't know Boro caught someone with some very sophisticated cameras and recording equipment spying on one of their training sessions.
Apparently Boro are looking into the possibility that Saints have done this to other teams this season.
Nightmare timing for the EFL. I can't see any way for them to fudge this

Quite. Why would you even need to spy on Oxford? I would expect them to spy on all their promotion rivals. I must say though that Southampton were swiftly punished while nothing happens to megabucks Man City in the Premiership. |  | | |

Was very impressed with their form and previously not a club have ever disliked myself. But I actually hope they get further penalties.
Think I have suddenly one of the teams, I would most like to get relegated next season. But basically what total plums. Massive risk taken but its unbelievably poor.
Feel sorry for the poor lad they got to do the dirty work though.

Thing is, Southampton either cheated and deserved to be thrown out, in which case the team they cheated shouldn't be punished for losing to a team that's cheating. Or it wasn't cheating and they should play in the final, but the EFL have decided it was, so why punish Middlesbrough for losing to a team that cheated. |  | | |
