http://www.espn.co.uk/football/queens-park-rangers/story/3243704/harry-redknapp-

Partly saying it wasn't me. Partly quietly kicking Hughes up the ar*e without saying it directly. Partly having a go at the FL. Partly playing golf in Dubai on those terrible knees!

I suppose it is inevitable that he would be 'tee stepped' on this.

Never knowingly right.

Well at least he got us promoted.

It was Clint Hill who got us promoted, Redknobb was dreaming at Wembley, thinking of new golf clubs to join when Clint told him to change the formation.

Anything Redknobb says can be paraphrased as -"Ooo me, officer? I can't read or write, how can I commit a crime?"

Blokes at total utter kunt, was it not 13 players he brought in to Birmingham and made them worse.

Lets hope he slips and fingers a local.

Don't forget the following who were signed during our last transfer window in the Premiership:

Loic Remy
Chris Samba
Jermaine Jenas
Andros Townsend

Some of those would've still been on the wage bill.

I included Jenas because he played. Remy and Samba were out on loan but yeh we'd have still been paying them. Townsend was back at Spurs.

No defending Harry in the slightest here, but from the list I can only see 5 that were permanent deals and the rest were loans right?

As we'd just been relegated from the Prem, surely we were in a position to secure these deals with the parachute payments we would've had?

As an aside, if you get relegated from the Prem twice in 3 seasons (like we did), does that mean we would've had 2 lots of parachute payments when we were relegated in 2015?

To the first point, the loss on transfer fees for the season we've been fined for was only a couple of million quid. The transfer fees were not the problem.

The main problem was salaries - the wage bill was £77.3m. Just about everybody on that list will have been earning an absolute fortune. The loans, we'll have been paying some of their wages if not all. Do you think Daniel Levy loaned us a first team left back, full international, on £40k a week, for free and paid all his wages while he was here? The free transfers will have been earning a fortune - Henry got a three year deal! Everybody on that list is bulking the wage bill.

And no, to the final point. I can't remember but the parachute payment you are owed in those circumstances gets pooled among the rest of the EFL I think.

Yes, and Caulker, Mutch, Vargas, Isla etc, but that was the season after which isn't the one he's talking about or the one we got fined for.

Thought we were nailed on for a top ten finish with that little lot, not forgetting Rio.

I thought we'd survive. Liked a lot of those signings. Didn't realise we weren;t going to bother with any of the away games.

Or bin the three at the back formation after two games, having sold off our best right back.

Not that Danny Simpson regrets that one.
