Birmingham v Leeds. Birmingham get equaliser in the 90th minute. Start singing you only sing when your winning. Leeds fans respond with you only sing when your drawing. Really funny |

I stood and applauded on 78mins yesterday. Nobody else around me did. I was asked about it but nobody else knew him. There was a few behind me and some iin the SAR and Ellerslie. I was thinking it might have been nice to have his picture on the big screen. I'm sure more people would have rec ognised him. He was one of our own Rangres through and through |

How would you review them so far? - Mbengue - 6 - Energy, personality but is he a championship player. Exposed as a cb, erratic on the ball. Could become a good RB? - Hayden - 6 - Didn’t play much in early part of season but a decent back up. - Poku - 1 - Nightmare so far with injuries. - Saito - 4/5 - Big disappointment, inconsistent and lightweight. Poor stats for mins played. A few moments of quality. Has not justified the fee paid or solved a problem. - Vale - 6/7 - Looks a good player, injury problems but enough to suggest he is a decent addition on a free. - Kone - 5/6 - Very mixed, stats are not great for mins played but has potential. First season at this level, perhaps we are asking too much of him week in and out. - Burrell - 8 - Massive bonus, pace and 10 goals. Injury is a big shame and a hamstring on a player who is all about pace and certainly not his first touch, means I worry about his return. |
 | Forum Thread | Morgan by MikeyG85 at 09:17 15 Feb 2026
Does he need a run in the team? He was one of the few positives last season but seeing much less football this year. Disappointed he didn’t start yesterday. If we are a development club, why do we start with Cook and Hayden most weeks. |
 | Forum Thread | Next season’s squad by MikeyG85 at 09:13 15 Feb 2026
We have Cooke, Hayden, JCS all out of contract. Morrison supposedly to return from loan and maybe Field. Based on age, injury and form you maybe give one of the above an extension. So where do we need to add quality to genuinely push on next year? Right back - Problem position for years, we have cb’s and cm’s doing a job currently. Adamson needs a loan. Left back - RND is on loan, need to sign at least one player. Attacking mid - We have so many wide and 10’s but are any consistent enough, such a strange season when reviewing this area of the squad. Do we try to move a couple on such as Saito and Dembele or give them another year? Forward - Kolli needs either more game time or a loan. Do we have a back up for Kone and is he even good enough as our main man!? Thoughts? |
 | Forum Thread | May Holidays by stevec at 09:01 15 Feb 2026
May can be a tricky time for football fans to plan a holiday, but not if you’re a QPR supporter. Any ideas that can be May specific for good weather and good value, particularly with the World Cup covering a month of 2026 prior to school summer holidays. |
 | Forum Thread | Transfer expenditure v League position by MikeyG85 at 08:59 15 Feb 2026
This is a great measure of the seasons performance. We were the 9th highest spenders but rank 15th compared to other teams. Look at Millwall and Hull, having fantastic seasons based on low spend. Currently its another disappointing season but arguably this is season worse, we have actually spent lots of money in a low standard division. Player inconsistency and injuries have really had an impact but again this happens every season. We could still finish strong but the rest of Feb with injuried looks very difficult. https://www.transfermarkt.co.u |
 | Forum Thread | Budget? by davman at 08:32 15 Feb 2026
So in the WLS piece from the manager after yesterday's sh1tshow, as well as the injuries, he also says that we have the second lowest budget in the league. If that is the case how have we managed to spend so much on Kone, Poku, Burrell, Saito and most of all, Edwards? If we really have the lowest budget, have spunked the Eze money on that lot, who haven't moved the performance dial and have not (with the possible exception of Burrell) increased in value, we are sooooo fckd long term again. Let's talk Edwards, because someone has to say it. £4.5m in a position where it appears temporarily at least that we have JCS, Cook, Dunne and Edwards to slot in to two positions because there is no way our illustrious manager would contemplate going to a back 3. Until yesterday, Cook and Dunne were undroppable, neaning that there was no place in our starting xi for our £4.5m signing. Imbalanced does not even start to describe it. Then there is our recruitment strategy. Buy young and cheap, sell on is the model and that is the right one, but if you buy crocks, they will devalue rather than increase in value. And throwing in Development kids that have not been prepared by a L1 / L2 season or half season long loan will give you Bennie, Kolli, Morgan, Esquerdinha, etc. - like Sinclair Armstrong before them, mismanaged development because our squad needs them from the bench because we have no-one else. I am psd off after yesterday and because I got heckled by a Chel** / Bromley fan this week and I can see Bromley, my local Pyramid Level 7/8 growing up overtaking us soon and I am utterly flabbergasted how poor we are as a club right now. |

I can’t remember a game before when there wasn’t an offside ? Well I couldn’t remember one anyhow. |
 | Forum Thread | Have we had our pants pulled down by agents (again) by charmr at 22:00 14 Feb 2026
Anyone know anything about recruitment. These ex academy and ex premier league players not able to play at this level. Hayden and Varane for example is ridiculous and may attain to the bigger picture of what is going on regarding player development in the Uk. |
 | Forum Thread | Stewards frisking by slmrstid at 21:04 14 Feb 2026
What the hell was all that about today? 2pm stood outside SAR and the handful of people are all getting frisked going in. These people are probably the least likely to be rabble rousers. At 2.30pm on Ellerslie when we went in it is of course impossible to frisk everyone because there's hundreds of people going in at once, but stewards were still pulling as many as they could aside. Why?! It's annoying enough being treated like a criminal at away games, don't need it at home as well! |
 | Forum Thread | Match report on BBC by Damo1962 at 20:51 14 Feb 2026
Just read it, and without starting a "Witch Hunt" on JS...he really does himself no favours with that post match response. I just don't think he gets English football. Of course he knows far more about football than I ever will...but I'm just not sure he fits us. That is not his fault, more those who thought he would be a good fit for us. If we keep slipping down the league...he is going to come under scrutiny. |

A really bad performance against a really poor side. Started well and played some lovely football for the 1st 10-15 mins, maybe overplayed a bit for the perfect goal, but unfortunately it is a 90mins games and the rest was poor. All the goals came from mistakes and poor goals to let in. Saito, Dunne, very poor, with Bennie looking maybe unfairly out of his depth, but the injury crisis dictates the options and the line up and the changes as the bench looked weak today. Ending up with a midfield 4 of Vale, Smyth, Morgan, Saito is not going to win you games but it is what it is. Surprised Stephen did not change it earlier, by bringing in Kolli earlier and go for 2 up to top. Smyth needs to stop giving away cheap fouls. Another strange one today was against Coventry when they had a corner we kept 3 up, but when we went 3-1 down we brought everybody back which baffled me a bit In summary poor performance and a missed opportunity to push for the play offs against a really poor side. Hope Madsen injury is not serious as that will be a massive miss as most good things go through him. MOM …can’t honestly pick one. Up the R’s |

Had the discussion with the fam the other day that I suspect I have every year about how bunched up the Championship is between 14th and 6th. Someone suggested it happens every year, so I looked it up. And they were broadly right: over the last 5-6 years it’s been roughly between 3-5 points between 14th and 6th places in early Feb. What’s interesting is that four weeks later the picture tends to change. So by the second week in March the gap is much more like 7-11 points. This is from memory so actual numbers might not be totally right but it does suggest that this is the time of year where people make the decisive move, like the final bend in the 10,000m race. Will be interesting to see if that happens this year too. |
