Maybe Monk sees something in Fulton and King and is happy for them to replace Canas. Maybe he doesn't want so many senior players with us not bein in Europe this season. Maybe he is happy with Ki,Leon,Shelvey,Fulton, plus hopefully JDG and Another, which would make it 6 cm players. With Dyer,Wayne,Emnes and Monterro he is also happy with our wingers so doesn't want to replace the Poz.
I'm not sure wether it's the right call or not but that may be his thinking. 2 players per position? Supplemented by youth. |  |

Poz will not be missed. We have better players in forward positions. He wasn't really Prem standard.
Canas on the other hand might be missed if Leon gets injured and the kids can't fill in. Amat can cover that position but is not perfect. |  |

Some said we had a better winning record with Canas on the team instead of Britton. Crap has he never been. As far as I can see he is a very intelligent player, who allways give a 100 % on the field.
Pozuelo was a raw player with great potential. And as every young player like Shelvey and Davies he goes from being brilliant to being crap. Think most Swansea fans loved seeing him him getting better and more experienced though last season.
As far as I can see Monk as every new manager want to bring in his "own" players and remove players brought in by former managers. Nothing new in that.

Was told by someone itk about 2/3rds of way through last season that it had been decided these two would never play for the club again, mainly because of the unsettling atmosphere they generated in the dressing room.

Poz had an amazing assist record given such limited time on the pitch
Both had massive energy and commitment, excellent VFM
Canas brought some enjoyment into the team which is excellent for team moral. Humour is also an excellent integration tool when your English is not fluent.
