Next 6 games are awful on 22:54 - Jan 3 with 2300 views | max936 | If we can get 2 quality players in fairly quickly and get them together with the squad we may give the Gunners a fright, Liverpool are not great defensively and Mane is on African Cup duty, Courtino, Matip and Henderson also could be out, its a tall order yes, but stranger things have happened.

They only posted our fixtures because they are proper footballing days out. And of course because deep down they know we just might do it.

Next 6 games are awful on 02:59 - Jan 4 with 1763 views | swanseajack4eva | After tonight I must say I have some belief ... I felt a bit of this after the Sunderland 3-0 win too ... the difference is though that Bradley is now gone and we have a proper manager coming in (can't be worse, can he!?!). JACK ARMY!!!
Next 6 games are awful on 06:59 - Jan 4 with 1621 views | robbiejames86 | Dropping points in these games, bar Leicester won't be disastrous, it's the Boro, Watford, Burnley, Sunderland and Hull games that will decide the future.
Next 6 games are awful on 07:58 - Jan 4 with 1498 views | Townhill_Hilton | Feeling far more confident that we can at least get the points we need to stay in the mix now. It is a battle between the bottom four, and we are better than the other three. Those and their results are all we have to worry about. Massive, massive reult today becaue it brought Crystal Palace back into that mis. Clement reminds me so much of the Rodgers appointment. I am really looking forward to the rest of the season.
Next 6 games are awful on 08:02 - Jan 4 with 1482 views | jojaca | If the bottom clubs have any real ambition of staying in this league you have to start beating the odd big club. The next run of games does not look good, but at least the home games look more winnable.

I agree. With a few exceptions we all have the same fixture list as we are half way through the season. With a new manager, a transfer window to improve and we are no longer adrift but right in the mix. Positivity is needed. One damper though. Reading News Now it is suggesting Borja is leaving and a 19 year old Doncaster Rovers forward coming in. Huw trying to be clever and penny pinching again will soon eradicate any chance we have built up for survival.

If true Jenkins has to go. If true how will Clement feel? He can't have had a good look at him yet, though he may be aware of him from his time at Real. What if he fancies keeping him??? And if we replace him with a 19 year old from Doncaster then I'm not renewing my ST. That's just taking the p*ss

Next 6 games are awful on 09:51 - Jan 4 with 1252 views | Joe_bradshaw | It's the hope that kills you. I'm still expecting to be playing 46 games next season. One win at Palace doesn't change that. The club is still rotten from top to bottom this morning just as it was yesterday morning. If Paul Clement can at least make a start on changing that over the next five months and if the owners are starting to see the light on the sh1thouses who sold them the club it will be something to build on. If Clement keeps us up it will be a magnificent achievement.

Next 6 games are awful on 09:56 - Jan 4 with 1224 views | LeonWasGod | The home games will be key. If we play as we know we can, we stand a chance of picking up points from those teams at home, much less so in those away matches though. Neither Southampton not leicester are doing particularly well. And if we're up for it against Arsenal, who knows what will happen - could sneak a point.

Would also include Watford in this assessment (they are dropping down the league at an alarming rate and are pretty crap really). Might even includeBurnley down once they stop getting unexpected wins against the top 6 and we beat them at home in early March ;)

Donny Rovers FFS? Surely PC is going to want a look at Borja over the next week before forming a decision. Even then I can't see him going in favour of a 4th tier striker.

Definitely. They were almost as poor a record in 2016 as Palace, and they've carried on losing into 2017. Bottom 3 for the 10 game form table is Watford Hull Palace And then there's a whole bunch of teams roughly as bad as us. A really bizarre season with so many poor teams: http://www.soccerstats.com/formtable.asp?league=england

Can anyone remember a season with so many bad teams before and what impact it had on the amount of points you needed to stay up?
