Next 6 games are awful 22:47 - Jan 3 with 3295 views

I think we now have to look at this as a long term project and show patience as points may be understandably thin on the ground for the next 6 weeks.

If we can get 2 quality players in fairly quickly and get them together with the squad we may give the Gunners a fright, Liverpool are not great defensively and Mane is on African Cup duty, Courtino, Matip and Henderson also could be out, its a tall order yes, but stranger things have happened.

25 points out of 19 games is very do able with a new manager a fighting spirit and a couple of new faces.

Feeling far more confident that we can at least get the points we need to stay in the mix now. It is a battle between the bottom four, and we are better than the other three. Those and their results are all we have to worry about. Massive, massive reult today becaue it brought Crystal Palace back into that mis. Clement reminds me so much of the Rodgers appointment. I am really looking forward to the rest of the season.

I agree. With a few exceptions we all have the same fixture list as we are half way through the season. With a new manager, a transfer window to improve and we are no longer adrift but right in the mix.
Positivity is needed. One damper though. Reading News Now it is suggesting Borja is leaving and a 19 year old Doncaster Rovers forward coming in. Huw trying to be clever and penny pinching again will soon eradicate any chance we have built up for survival.

It's the hope that kills you.

I'm still expecting to be playing 46 games next season. One win at Palace doesn't change that. The club is still rotten from top to bottom this morning just as it was yesterday morning. If Paul Clement can at least make a start on changing that over the next five months and if the owners are starting to see the light on the sh1thouses who sold them the club it will be something to build on. If Clement keeps us up it will be a magnificent achievement.

The home games will be key. If we play as we know we can, we stand a chance of picking up points from those teams at home, much less so in those away matches though. Neither Southampton not leicester are doing particularly well. And if we're up for it against Arsenal, who knows what will happen - could sneak a point.

Definitely. They were almost as poor a record in 2016 as Palace, and they've carried on losing into 2017. Bottom 3 for the 10 game form table is
