The exorcism of Emily Rose 👍 based on true events too...

Bad Taste! It isn't quite full on horror, more of a splatter Sci Fi Horror Set in New Zealand. It has a cult following.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Love all the old Hammer films myself, remember hiding behind a cushion as a schoolboy when Christopher Lee's 'Dracula' came on the telly.

I sent a photo to Christopher Lee to be signed. He died in the meantime but about a year after his death it came back duly signed. The signature checked out. I'm still freaked out.

Made by, and starring, one(sometimes two) Peter Jackson(s). Enjoyable film.
Whilst not really a horror movie, The Gift is a decent enough film. Its the only thing I have watched recently that didnt make me switch off after half an hour.
To the OP, If you haven't watched 'West of Memphis'(also involving Peter Jackson) then watch that. It qualifies as a horror story in that it actually happened and it was horrific in every way.

Alien is still a favourite of mine.

The best horror's I always found are the ones that leave more to your own imagination rather than fill the screen full of gore.

One of the best horror films of the last 30 years,Roboshark.

Basically, a Great White accidentally bites a UFO in the Pacific and turns into a hybrid robot/shark.

Even the most powerful man in the world could not stop it.

Directed by Ridley Scott.
