Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Thought FF has had a good game but he should have just lumped a clearance rather than wait for Fab to recover. Oh well.

DYSS; is there something wrong with you?

Poor half. Poor from Mawson and Fernandez.

Mesa has played well. Carroll and Leroy have been awful.

Strikers can't keep hold of the ball. Shockingly poor play from both

World class save from Fab there. But FF should have been quicker to react.

Played better than thought we would have.

FF should have put his boot straight through the ball.

WTF was he trying to protect standing there with his arms out??

It's clear to see why Clement didn't want to play Mesa. He looks like Bauza in midfield. Running around a lot but always a second or too off the pace and contributing absolutely nothing . Very poor.

Anything positive?

You watching a different game. Upset Mesa has broken down so many of your teams attacks?

Play to the whistle defender. Fernandez could have tried a lot more to clear that but just stopped allowing Bailly to put it in. Poor defending.

It depends on what both coaches say in the half time break. Will the 'Special One' urge Utd to push on or will he tell them to ease off. Will Clement drop a defender and go for a more expansive game or will he keep to shape and hope for a break on the counter attack.

I thought Mesa has looked OK to be honest. First proper game with us and against arguably the best team in the PL this year.

Thought we looked good the first half. just one moment of a switch off an outfit like this season's Manure will take it. but we are looking a bit more put together than we did last week.

I don't think we can blame Fernandez for that, the ball was bouncing vertically directly on the line. He had to hook it behind him precisely, any wrong touch whatsoever and it's an og anyway. Don't think even the best would have had time there before Bailly jumped in.

Bollocks, was all going so well.

The usual 5 minutes before half time curse strikes again.

We always seem to be fragile during this period. So frustrating

Not really. It looks like another game where we've decided a 0-0 would be good. It's poor. We're playing 5 at the back but our two wingbacks, especially naughton are not getting forward at all. We are attacking with just two players and it is appalling. The midfield 3 are jogging forward when we do break forward. It is a shame fabianski's best save in years was made irrelevant by having nobody on the posts.

If FF had even tried to put his boot through the ball and scored an own goal, ok, but make Bailly think about it

Watch Mesa when we have the ball. He just strolls around , not making himself available for a pass . We then usually turn in circles or hoof it aimlessly forward . How can anyone defend that? We can't build attacks like this.

Poor crossing and toothless up front.

mesa slow of thought and deed - another example of poor positional play just there

missing Leon's clever proactive anticipation, interceptions and ball retention

Fer has been woeful, Abraham and Ayew are not linking up at all so far either. Tough afternoon against a very, very good United side.

If he shaved that tasche off and had Britton on his back I bet there'd be no complaints.
