Llorente saga 19:49 - Aug 31 with 7152 viewsKinsey

Ok, I'm a big llorente fan so a little possibly biased, but I see no value in selling such an asset to our club.

I understand what some have said about his value in a years time, but what's bony going to be worth at that same time.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous.

Selling a race horse and replacing with a donkey!

Fee, contract and medical done for Bony

Fee and medical tone for Llorente at Spurs. Delay was with Chelsea who have not agreed to match Spurs offer. Llorente now finalising contract with Spurs

Ta. Right then. Cmon Wilfried Bony....

If memory serves me right WB scored 20+ goals whist here. He also had the ability to jump an amazing height, something we need in attack and defence. Although his lack of regular football is a concern and £10/15M is on the high side given that lack of football but only time will tell.

Who knows mate. I wouldn't want to be going into the nex 4 months with Abraham/Ayew/McBurnie, so it's Hobson's choice. I have a totally open mind. It's a gamble sure as shit, but it probably has as much chance as coming off as going tits up really. I thought he actually looked ok at city, just not at their level or a fit with their style. Stoke wasn't good, but we've looked closely at that and his motivation. Haven't we Jenko? And at least it stops him scoring against us all the time and our dorks cheering him as he does it. That's worth a few bob.

Ye, C'mon Wilfried Bony and all that, but for me the last two years are secondary to the fact he wanted to go to Verona on loan before 'coming home' as some like to paint it. The two factors together fills me with zero confidence that this will work out.

Llorente not yet confirmed. What's the chances that Levy is fuucking with HJ

Just realised that Spurs are effectively getting him for 7.5M once you deduct what we owe them for siggy.

Maybe we've been his first choice all along and he was just setting up back up options in case the move to us fell through? It's obviously paramount to him that he leaves Man City, and that can only mean that he wants to play, otherwise he could have stayed put and got paid for sitting on his arse all season.

Remember he's also been offered Champions League football and big money in Russia, yet he's been here in Swansea having a medical today, he's chosen to come to us. We need to give him a fair chance before writing him off, to me all the signs are good.

You know the score Chris, a detail like that wouldn't be reported unless it were true. It doesn't have to come from Wilf himself.
