Physiotherapists 19:29 - Sep 6 with 5630 viewsmonmouth

My old 90+ dad has been told he has a muscular problem that is basically crippling him. The consultant suggested physio, and whilst waiting for NHS, I'd like him to have a paid consultation and couple of sessions to maybe get him started and, to be honest, at least take his mind off his misery. Problem is I know a bloody good physio up here but no one in Swansea, so anyone got a personal recommendation?

Neath Port Talbot Hospital has a walk in centre for physio every morning between 9-11 who are very good, just turn up and wait your turn for consultation. It is also at Singleton here you go

Coast Physiotherapy in Uplands (not to be confused with the previous poster).

I know him personally so gets my thumbs up. Also does a bit of work with the FAW.

He's there now then he used to up on the road leading to Broadway, turn right after Uplands Tavern and on top of the hill on the left, he also had a Clinic on London Rd in Neath, I haven't seen him in years.
I either go to the walk in Physio's over by Morrison's in Port Talbot or pop down Steve Evans [Chalkie] place on the Ropewalk in Neath the Old Evening post place, if I've a problem.

The one in singleton has around 25/30 consultations, first come first served. My old girl got there half hour before it started and there were about 20 people already there. Great waiting there with a bad back for 3 hours

Rachel hatcher. Phoenix centre town hill.

I've used her as have a number of my friends and she is excellent. I know she is busy but has recently taken on new staff. Also has a base at the national pool Swansea.

I have used Mark from the below and found him really good. Nearest clinic would be Penygroes, Cross Hands, which would be ok if you were on the north west of Swansea, but not much use if your central, east or west.

Jonathan Hopkins is the best physio I have ever seen, and that's quite a few from London to Swansea after an industrial accident 30 years ago.

I would highly recommend him.
