OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

Would the brexit department have a budget of it's own? Would the brexit dept bill not include wages?

Hang on I'll save you the bother,

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/868884

Yes the wages of the DExEU are included in the costs and it wasn't cheap.

As I said, most of them were already employed so would have been being paid anyway.

And even if you take that one month snapshot and apply it to each of the roughly 40 months that department existed for you get to £120m. Out of a total of £4.4bn spent on Brexit prep as highlighted in the link above.

Tell me, do you ever actually read the links you post?

Armed forces ? We have a nuclear deterrent. Do not worry the Russians aren’t about to invade.
If you are that concerned about the lack of money, why don’t you write a letter to your MP asking him/her to petition the government to stop sending foreign aid to countries that have space programs.

A tormented 😩 soul.......😂

Whip round innit. We could start a collection at the Liberty this afternoon.

In fairness to the dodgy chancers who pushed for Brexit, they did progressively downgrade expectations from global dominance and ‘sunlit uplands’ to ‘don’t worry, we are stockpiling plenty of body bags’ and ‘there may be enough food’. People knew what they voted for, apparently.

Thanks for the authoritative reply.

Its good to know a poster (ie you) on PlanetSwans knows more about the impact of Brexit than the Financial Times.

Listen, the best thing you do is blame the unfolding Brexit disaster on the Corona virus. Its your only hope of avoiding the blame for the dumbest decision by any country since the war. Try to think ahead ...

Swings and roundabout.

"More than 1000 banks, asset managers, payments firms and insurers from the European Union are planning to open offices in post-Brexit Britain so they can continue to serve UK clients.

The new offices would help financial firms counter the loss of business as unrestricted two-way access between the UK and EU comes to an end in December following a Brexit transition period.

By October last year 1,441 EU-based firms had applied to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for temporary permissions to operate in the UK after Brexit, according to figures obtained via a Freedom of Information request from regulatory consultancy Bovill.

Over 1,000 of these firms do not currently have an office in the UK, suggesting they intend to establish their first office after the UK’s departure from the EU on 31 January."
