Siggy and Llorente 08:45 - May 12 with 1862 views | STID2017 | They were without doubt our saviours last season. Putting aside the fact they didn't want to stay, can anyone hand on heart say we were a better team with out them, or that we didn't miss them ? Never mind the "they weren't replaced " argument. Simple questions - better or worse, miss them or not ?

Siggy and Llorente on 08:46 - May 12 with 1852 views | SgorioFruit | We survived relegation last season We are relegated this season Thus = worse without them

Siggy and Llorente on 08:47 - May 12 with 1846 views | Jackfath | We missed them and were poorer without them being in our match day squad. Obviously.

Siggy and Llorente on 08:56 - May 12 with 1805 views | nantywatcher | What also was a major factor last season was we were very lucky with no serious injury problems and no relevant suspensions. Personally I'm not convinced Llorente would have made that big a difference this season.

The Res is awake and responded to a comment of mine with his usual "class" and then went on to suggest I should offer an opinion of my own rather than following the crowd, which is why I posted this

It's a stupid question. Nobody in their right mind would think we are a better team without them.

Siggy and Llorente on 09:07 - May 12 with 1764 views | icecoldjack | The standard of the premier league has been getting lower year after year, it's why Huw and Co. got away with selling top players and replacing with inferior, but there is a tipping balance . Both Siggy and Llorente made a difference for us, thats obvious to everyone in the world of football apart from the Res. It' s ok to sell a player but they must be replaced with equal or greater quality, as far as i can remember this has never happened at the Swans since Laudrup left, it's been a spiral downwards saved by falling football standards in the premier league. No way would the likes of Burnley be finishing so high 6 yrs ago . The standard is awful, we are worse than awful Siggy and Llorente had enough quality in 6/7 games to make a difference plain and simple. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Siggy and Llorente on 10:03 - May 12 with 1628 views | builthjack | We would 100% still be in the Premier League if they had stayed. Probably mid table.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Siggy and Llorente on 10:08 - May 12 with 1610 views | 34dfgdf54 | They were never going to stay though, selling was only option. Money had to be reinvested wisely and it wasn’t. It was glaringly obvious when the window closed we were desperately short and we are where we are down to the complete incompetence of those running the club. I’m looking on the brightside though. Changes HAVE to happen now and the time to rebuild starts, however long it takes.

Siggy and Llorente on 12:54 - May 12 with 1466 views | Smellyplumz | Siggy saw the writing on the wall and got fed up of carrying the team. I said so at the end of the season and got reamed out. I could see it a million miles away and the money was pissed away.
