Is that where you buy your shirts?

Trying to go through life without offending someone is a ridiculous notion, and should not even remotely be an imperative.
This pathetic move by Aldi also suggests that non Christians would somehow be offended by this culinary cross, or would not tolerate its appearance on bread. I despair. Who thinks this way, really?
Even if someone was somehow taken aback by this, I'll paraphrase Dawkins here:
Oh you're offended? So fu cking what?

Have they?

Or do they just sell normal crossless buns every day of the year like every other supermarket in the entire world?

I'm not sure Aldi have removed the cross they just haven't put them on, hence they're called buns. Lots of shops sell buns.

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

Plenty of hot cross buns in Aldi today, with crosses on. Also in Broche, Salted Caramal, all with crosses on.

Fake news or not, the fact remains that there a people out there who insist you spend your life walking on egg shells. I'm thinking neo-libtards.
Say what you feel is right; not what you think won't offend anyone.

Likewise, there are people out there who are obsessed with being offended over their apparent liberties being taken away.

You think the true freedom to say what you want is an 'apparent' liberty?

You have any idea what's going on at our university campuses these days? Have you read any material on the subject?

I'm not obsessed, but this wave of neo-liberalism is galling and worrying. And by the way, I consider myself a liberal, in the classical sense. Name me some more important issues to be concerned with, pal.

Er, do you think it might be a joke?

Outraged.

Well actually not outraged at all because it is clearly a joke.

But some of the replies have made it more than worthwhile

We've established it's fake news. I was duped by fake news, as you are most days of your life. What I say is still very, very salient.

Lisa, I wanted to ascertain if your first comment had unintended relevance to your own belief, or lack thereof, in the far-fetched and mawkish.
