Am I missing something here? Why is the universal response so negative?
No matter how large or small the gesture was, it's still a good thing to do for some fans. We know he isn't a Swansea man. He's never came out and said he loves the club. We also know he will leave someday, probably within a few years. But who cares?

Imho he seems to be steadying the ship, obviously doing it to suit whatever plan it is that the Yanks have, whilst balancing the books.
None of us who are not ITK can actually be sure of what is going behind the scenes but as a club we seem more stable than we were.
It would have been easy to go the way of Bolton or even Bury the way we were reportedly hemorrhaging money.
Of course I could be wrong, but seem we are going in the right direction even if it is only to enable the sale of the club. | |
