Match stats doesn’t paint the picture, as we were battered fair play. Although if we’d bagged one of those early chances it may have been a different story.
Confidence is lower than a gnat’s ankle and we’re a young inexperienced side, particularly in the engine room, so it’s difficult to see a way out of it at the moment. Unfortunately Warnock will be licking his lips reviewing that.
On the other hand (trying to be positive here!), a scrappy last minute winner off someone’s backside in Sunday’s derby could well be enough to arrest this home form slump. One thing’s for sure, us fans will be up for it, here’s hoping there’s a reaction from the players and they’re up for it too! | | | |

It’s the changing room that’s part of the problem.
When I did have a feed it had the Brentford commentary team and they said they thought we looked (a) as though we’d underestimated them and (b) less fit than them.
In other words, we didn’t put in quite as much effort. From what I saw (which cut out just before half time, in the interests of balance) that seemed spot on. I have no idea whether the second half was different, as I couldn’t pick up a feed. |

So basically all three goals were really poor defensively.

Agree to most of that but Rodon's undercut pass was called for by Bidwell who moved away from it and let the Brentford player walk into the gap.
So, I'd be 50% Rodn 50% Bidwell.
Roberts was too busy having a go at others to be effective (Giggs thinks he's wonderful apparently!) and Bidwell if a couple of stone overweight - he can't get back once he's moved upfield.
I'm excusing Borja tonight as he had no service but did, as always, go looking to be involved but only Celina made any impact.

The post-game press conference comments from Cooper mean absolute squat. How many weeks have he and other players been saying that we need to improve, need to gain control of the game, need to play with more intensity etc? Whatever Cooper and his coaching staff have been trying to do to arrest this form slump isn't working.

The trouble when Bidwell overlaps is that nobody drops to cover. One of the DMs should be doing that, but as we’re getting desperate they’re both pushing up the pitch leaving hu-chiffin-mungous holes.
