Lack of testing is due to not enough demand. Is the guy deluded ?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Correct.

Shocking, heads should roll for this. Why isn’t it being reported in the media?

Most of the media are Tory.

UK was in denial on testing, the WHO never said any such thing, of course ...

Dr Harries didn’t say or even intimate they did.

She has been excellent throughout.

Here's a very funny but eerily accurate take on Hancock's part in the whole thing:

We are obviously in difficult times but this man's performance has been utterly dreadful. Truly shocking.

It’s more shocking that he isn’t the worst.

Hancock and Raab are worse than him.

When he said there would capacity for 100,000 tests per day I could tell he was making it up.

Where's the science to support that number Hancock?

Apparently, the officials are so fed up with him they now call him Handjob.

You can tell he was making it up, his lips were moving.

Best guess is 4% of the population has had it up to about a week ago. So people probably had something else around Xmas.

I'm not sure there is a best guess, everyone (even the experts) are wading around in a massive schit pit in the dark.

Whatever Hancock says, he always looks like a rabbit in the headlights. He doesn't inspire confidence which just makes things seem worse, if possible.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

She has been bombed out recently though, it appears ... ?

If she had said ‘yes we hear the WHO guidance, and yes it absolutely applies to our UK approach’ then i think that would have been much shorter and reassured somewhat ...?

She did not say that, did she ?

No ...she said ‘that WHO is talking about the whole world, and so when it comes to a highly developed public healthcare system like the UK then its x,y, and z ....’. Caveats and double speak because she absolutely knew that the reality has been that the UK had decided not to follow the ‘test, test, test’ guidance. And whatever the reason for that, then that decision has been a huge error.

The link i provided said exactly that.
Why is this lady adding caveats to advice that the WHO Issued without any such caveats ?

I thought Germany had tested a massive number of people? 2.06% isn't great either, OK it's 4 times what we've done but given what's been said on here I thought it was much higher.

I guess someone always has to be last, it doesn't always have to be us though.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I know several people who think theyve had it around Xmas, myself included, worst case of "something" ive ever had, but chances of me getting tested to see if ive had it, as I am in the waiting for God category, are slim.

One person I know had all the symptoms , and was even hospitalised for a while , and was told they didnt know what it was, must have been some sort of "virus".

As of yesterday, we have tested 341, 551 people, Germany have tested 1,728, 357, about 5 times as many as us.

Around 142,000 confirmed cases and less than 4,500 deaths, so far.
