I came across this. A wonderful summary from a woman that never fails to impress me every time she speaks. Can anyone argue against what she says? It’s my view in a nutshell, I would be interested to see if anyone is brave enough to explain their counter. Hump? Tell us what they are fighting for if you can. Be specific, don’t just say “racism” or “equality”, give me specific issues and then I will look into the validity of them. Fair? Because you can be damned sure the likes that were protesting in the MLK era would be able to make unarguable points of clear systemic racism with absolute ease and clarity. The problem is as she says though, they have had it so easy that what they see as an injustice to argue over many of us older people see as everyday life. We live in an age when young people feel who feel thretened need a safe space, they don't know how to stand up for themselves unless it's in a mob, like the one in that twitter video. They don't feel safe being around people who don't entirely agree with them. What were they were proclaiming in the footage, "if we don't share it shut it down" is that right or have I misheard? They cannot see that in their fight against injustice they are behaving just like "the mob" “There is nothing virtuous or noble about being "tolerant" of people whose attitudes and behaviors you approve of. If you don't defend the freedom of even those individuals whose attitudes and behaviors you find disgusting, narrow-minded and offensive, then you are not tolerant. To "tolerate" doesn't mean you like it or approve of it; it means only that you ALLOW it to EXIST--i.e., you refrain from violently interfering. The people who look to "government" to FORCE people to be "nice" are not tolerant.” ― Larken Rose quote taken from 'goodreads.com' Nietzsche said "The mob is the most ruthless of tyrants" and when mob mentality takes over bad things happen.

| Perhaps they should stop the kneeling now. on 21:57 - Aug 25 by Humpty | Agree with you about WW1, I was talking more about the replay. I still think it's a bit of a push to say we were defending ourselves. Hitler had no desire to attack the UK. |
Hang on, we gave Hitler a chance to avoid war, we told him to retreat from Poland or it would be war. Having given our word to the Poles (after already shafting the Czechs) we had no choice. Hitler might not have intended to invade Britain in 1939 but strategically speaking, he would have done at some point. He knew of Japans intentions and knew if they entered the war the USA needed a staging post, without the UK there would be no platform to invade and free Europe from the Nazis. Don't forget that we sent masses of aid to Russia too, if Hitler occupied the UK he'd have prevented us helping Russia and he always intended to invade Russia. There are several reasons why Hitler was reticent too invade though, first he needed air superiority because he didn't have the seaborne capability to invade without being destroyed by the Royal Navy. He didn't have the amphibious capability. When he lost the Battle of Britain he had to rethink. If Japan had waited to attack the USA and then Hitler had waited to attack Russia, things could have been very different.

This latest shooting, I've read that ordinary people are taking their legally owned weapons and trying to defend their businesses, as a result two more people have been shot and killed. Why is the reaction to an injustice always an attack on inncoent people's property? Why are more deaths acceptable? How is that justice?

Well this has been rumoured for quite some time. Since the body cam footage came out it showed him saying he couldn’t breathe long before he went to ground. Which is usually a direct symptom of fentanyl abuse. Make no mistake that having a knee shoved in your neck certainly won’t make that any better. Chauvin was still a bad cop on a massive power trip and certainly deserved jail time. Floyd was not a thread when on the ground. It was the neglect that is the main issue for me there, he was clearly struggling from the drugs he took and the position he was in. Avoidable.

Do you find beating up a ‘gammon’ funny too Humps. That is what you would call that defenceless old man, putting his life on the line to protect his livelihood, isn’t it. Isn’t it funny him being beaten up by thugs. Scum of the earth. Only pure luck he was not killed, who would be getting on their knees for him. BLM yea, let’s donate more money to that UK political organisation of the same name, who wants to destroy our country and openly discriminates against black people who don’t share their political objectives (skin ain’t necessarily kin, was it). What did that black activist say about their last airport protest, the only black thing was the tarmac? All lives matter Racism is not acceptable - Hump and Kilks take note
