Perhaps they should stop the kneeling now. on 17:20 - Aug 31 by FieryJack
None of that stands up.
The use of rough, raw, or offensive language is, to my mind, perfectly legitimate in a debate, as long as it's used to subtly season a sound argument. If it's over-used it becomes tedious, of course.
Chaucer, Shakespeare and Jonathan Swift, amongst others, knew the value of crude, vernacular expressions, and used such "foul" language to great comic effect, and one of its chief assets is that it irritates namby-pambies such as yourself.
You can't even spell "language-challenged" either, or construct a decently shaped paragraph.

You're all over the place, mun 🤣
Chaucer, Shakespeare and Swift weren't using that language in debates though, it was in entertainment and Swift published a lot of his works anonymously or under pseudonyms.
To me rough or raw is fine but when it turns offensive it's no longer debate, it is arguing, name calling. Humerus is also fine though some people don't have a funny bone in their body.
Generational poverty, hmm, does she think only black people suffer generational poverty? She also seems to support acts of violence as in "you got hands, use them"
True equality, fair treatment and justice won't come from this kind of language. Not that I think it will happen at all, certainly not in my lifetime.

She also doesn’t realise that only 1.4% of households had slaves, not all of those households white either. The very first legal slave owner in America was black.
The amount of rubbish these people spout that know absolutely nothing about history is terrifying.

And who sold them in to slavery in the first place?

And who sold them in to slavery in the first place?
Exactly. Slavery was going on long before the white Europeans brought it to America. It’s selective history highlighting.
Inter tribal slavery had been going on in Africa for centuries, that’s without going into the Barbary Slave Trade where millions of white Europeans were sold into slavery.
Then you have the Jewish people in World War 2 used as slave labour for companies like Hugo Boss and Mercedes. Nobody cares about that though…

There are quite a few people on here with alot of time on their hands sifting through searching for sh!te to suit their narrative.
You lot want to take a chill pill.
For the record, I work 11 hour shifts Monday to Friday and 4 hours most Saturdays and sundays. The links that I post have been from what has come up on Twitter, I don’t spend all day trawling for shite to suit my narrative.
Perhaps if you did some research, you may find out what exactly is going on in the world!

I work 48 hrs at my first job plus 50 hrs on call a week in my second so I dont want to spend precious time getting myself worked up just to score points.
This attitude makes me live a happy life and I gave up bothering what goes on in the world a while ago.

"Offensive language is....perfectly legitimate...in your mind". Wow.
Unlike Chaucer et al you are woefully inept at using "foul" language to great comic effect. You use it ad nauseam, it's your go-to fiery negative offensive worst. Pathetic. Maybe have the courage to share your best prose with your poor (girl?)friend (that you bizarrely choose to brag about, late on a saturday night).
(btw, "subtly season" wtf does that mean? "All over the place", in your shambles of a head.)
You and your extremist cronies shudder and run to your hills when faced with a challenge. Snowflakes, "excrement" of the worst kind. Your words, Fieryfella

Well I watched both of those and now is anyone going to call me racist for saying all lives matter? Or for saying all racism is wrong? Is anyone going to call the Hodge twins racist? Or the fella in the twitter post for asking where BLM are when blacks are killing blacks? Possibly someone will want to call the Hodge twins choc ices and scold the guy on twitter for not supporting the BLM "truth" which I have doubted from the start. I've never seen how violence, more deaths and such divisive language is going to cure any problem. During the BLM protests there have been 14000 arrests for mostly low level stuff but, BUT at least 15 more people have died. So these protests have seen more people killed.
I also read that the BLM protests have been used as cover for criminals to commit more crimes, any large scale protest always attracts some bad people so that was inevitable, there's always those who want to cause trouble.

The Hodgetwins get horrific racist abuse of fellow black people, as does Candace Owens, Officer Tatum and a whole load of black people trying to show their race what is going on. Yet all they get is them calling them coons and Uncle Toms, they did a video about it and joke about it all the time.
They are taught this stuff from a young age, it’s engrained into them that if you are black then you vote Democrat because you are oppressed. It’s incredibly damaging.
People need to realise what is going on. It’s just a lie, nothing they say is backed by reality and the data shows that.
80% of black people want more or the same level of policing in their neighbourhoods, which makes sense considering the crime rates. Brandon Tatum used to be an officer and often says it how it is:-

I guessed they'd get racist abuse in their own country, I meant was anyone on here going to call them names? Not since the split I guess, seems like the BLM support went to the other site. People believe what they want to believe and in far too many cases black people will believe BLM because it gives them someone else to blame. Most of us seem to want someone to blame besides ourselves. Take me, I'm always blaming the rich and powerful for the causes of most inequality and discrimination!

If you haven't watched the Tatum video above I recommend it highly. Probably the best of all of them.
We will agree to disagree about rich people, I am a strong believer that every community needs the rich as they are often mass employers or inventors/manufacturers of things that improve the lives of everyone else, but that's another discussion haha

I have nohing against being relatively well off, when I say rich and powerful I mean the so called 1%. Those who use their wealth to get wealthier and keep accumulating vast wealth just as a status symbol. What good is having more wealth than you can ever spend? Why should one family have such vast wealtha dn resources when some countries are mostly in poverty?
My problem is I guess I am a communist at heart while at the same time understanding that communism can't work because human greed will always win. I really do believe that everyone should have everything they need first, the basics of human life. A safe home, running water, food and yes, a job. What people want can come after. When my cousin was working in Africa he said he noticed that the most generous people were those who had the least to share but greed was the same wherever he went, those with the most shared the least.

That's the thing with the 1%, people think it represents a group of people rather than just a number. The 1% is movable, people drop in and out of the 1% all the time, it is not a fixed group of people. People have been in the 1% that end up bankrupt.

The problem is that the very rich have morphed over the years from being mostly philanthropists in the early 1900s to just greedy bar stewards who want more and more money, more toys and especially more power. Most of them still employ a lot of people, but they have no respect for them. The likes of Dyson and Branson have shown that when it suits they just drop the people that made them their wealth for cheaper labour.

Did the players take the knee today?
Yes they did . They follow like sheep meanwhile in USA a BLM supporter approaches a police car and shoots two policemen while the crowd cheers and demonstrates outside the hospital where they are taken.
It is time people realised, even dumb footballers, what BLM stands for.
