You can't buy some socks for your kids, but Fireworks, yes certainly Sir/ Madame how many would you like, and don't forget your spuds on the way out. FFS.😂

I've been told Sainsbury's weren't selling fireworks because of covid, is that right? I don't actually object to people having the things but I do object to them being set off all times of day. Can't there be a law that they can only be set off between 6 and 10pm? They were going off around here from 4.30, it wasn't even dark. My poor dog is going to have a coronary. Some of them are so close and loud my windows are shaking.

Hello gary.Nice to see you on this site. However you seem to have appeared as an emissary to create disharmony so hard luck. You've failed. Memories .eh. How many years ago is that .Hence my point about holding pitiful grudges over many years . As for photos, personally nobody should ever post photo of others without their consent especially those unable to give consent so let's leave it there. Stay safe friend [Post edited 5 Nov 2020 19:58]

Indeed. Fortunately our seventeen year old is too deaf to worry about them now. Something to be thankful for even though she’s on borrowed time.

Not sure about Sainsbury's tbh, but the missus did our weekly shop today and Tesco's were selling them and there were long queues. [Post edited 5 Nov 2020 20:20]
