Even sadder is the media and certain people defending and downplaying these crimes.
I always imagine, what would the media and opinion be if the same behaviour by ANTIFA and BLM was done by Trump supporters for 8 sustained months. Taking over and occupying part of a city with armed force has been completely forgotten about it seems.

In previous exchanges I haven't doubted that the left wing violence is going on. I have however pointed out that the right wing is at it too. That is where we differ. You insist it's the left.
I am now merely pointing out that Andy Ngo is not a 100% neutral source. It wasn't just an opinion that he was sacked for breaching journalistic standards, it isn't just my opinion that he was seen socialising with a far right group.
If you are going to dismiss any evidence that comes from a left leaning source then I have to dismiss anything from a right leaning source.
BLM and Antifa are guilty, they have been violent, I'm not disputing it but there is right wing violence too. The mob mentality doesn't just happen to left wingers, it is a human problem. We saw it in the UK when groups lined up to protest aganst BLM.

That is something I've tried (and failed) to say a few times. I have said before that DrP is biased and he assures me it isn't bias, it's his common sense point of view based on evidence.
He also assures me he isn't right wing yet he constantly attacks the left and sticks up for Trump. It's a puzzle to me. I openly say I'm slightly left of centre but with some opinions that would be right wing and I tend to be critical of all politicians. The only one I remember being nice about recently is Rosena Allin-Khan.
Maybe I'm just confused eh? It could be my age, the fibrofog or just a lackof anility to understand.
2020 is a really confusing year, Covid causing chaos, fascists calling anyone who disagrees with them fascists, the loser claiming he's won but getting dashed at every turn, getting called racist for saying all racism is wrong......be glad to see the back of it. |

There's alot of it going on. People get criticised for putting up links or for paste and copy, what are you supposed to do, memeorise it and type it all out fresh?

If you have read the links that you are posting then surely you would have formed your opinion based on them. So explain yourself, write your opinion in your own words.

I think somewhere along the way you have lost complete track of what point you were trying to make. You have gone from calling Andy Ngo someone who falsifies videos (which is untrue) to saying he is biased.
But bias is irrelevant when you are posting videos of events. It is not Andy Ngo's video by direction. CNN is biased, so does them showing a Trump press conference invalidate it? No, because it is a primary source.
By all means if I was posting Andy Ngo's opinion, you may well choose to not want to take it on board due to his potential for political bias. But actual events are not biased.
Yes it was an opinion that he was sacked for breaching journalistic standards, because journalistic standards is an opinion based standard. He was sacked for posting the opinion of a speaker at his college. It has nothing to do with standards, and everything to subject matter and how the publication would be attacked by the left because it showed an uncomfortable truth.
Now onto the violence. To say both the right and left are at it, dismisses the issue out of hand. Its a bit like saying ''The Jews were at it too in World War II because there are some instances of Jewish people fighting Nazis, so it wasn't all one way''.
Do you see the difference there?

I support common sense, not men. Trump has been excellent for the country, so I support him. Common sense is not a right wing trait, it’s a common sense trait. It just happens to currently be more prevalent in right leaning people as the left is so bonkers.
I use And Ngo’s videos because he is one of the few journalists that report on ANTIFA. I’m not sure if you are ignoring this point but I am not linking to Andy Ngo’s opinion. I dismiss leftist opinion pieces, yes... but I don’t post right wing opinion pieces either.
If you have any videos of primary sources from leftists then that is something entirely different and will take a look at them. Which part of that do you struggle with? Because it’s something you say constantly even though I address and explain it to you each and every time. Videos of actual events are videos of actual events, opinions are... opinions.
Which words don’t match my claims? Specifically. It’s very easy to say sweeping things like that - less easy to back it up. All my words are consistent with my views. Every single one.
