| Georgia run off predictions 07:31 - Jan 4 with 7774 views | Dr_Parnassus | Anyone? I’m going with a double Democrat win sadly taking it to 50 seats each. I think Warnock beats Loeffler. Closer race in the regular one but Ossoff to pip Perdue. Will give the tying decision to the VP which isn’t good news for the Republicans, or America in general if you ask me. But there are a couple of floating congresspeople that cross party lines so who knows, hopefully they block any of the madder changes that come up and ditch party affiliation. 1 seat win out of the 2 should be enough for the Republicans though, which is most likely to come from Perdue if any. Interesting few days ahead. | |

The same drops in in total counts, not possible. The same drops in percentage already counted, ie "finding" new ballots. The same distancing of monitors so they can't see what is happening. The same "problems" with counting machines. Banana republic. |
and probably the same Republican organisers saying thats all bullshit.

Groo, please explain how they counted 200,000 votes for the Democrats in 7 minutes. [Post edited 6 Jan 2021 19:20]

Just a guess, they count votes in a County, then those votes as a bulk are passed to the total. If they received the bulk votes for a couple of heavy democrat areas in a short period, then the graph would look like, well, just like that.

Just from a cursory glance it seems that the graph is meme created from the presidential election and republished to pretend it’s from the runoff. I maybe wrong as I can’t find the data source to back it up. It would be helpful to know where the data is from as I can’t see where the alleged lost votes appear.

I said people would be scared at the prospect of the Dems batshite crazy ideas. I can't imagine how people would be feeling if a similar scenario happened in Britain. People genuinely fearful for the future of their families. Some peoples pay is going to be taxes 65% while the Green New Deal will hike petrol prices to around $4 or $5 a liter. While the uneducated can't stop talking about Trump, those that know what this all means are incredibly concerned. Rightly so.

It's like Olympus Has Fallen, only with Morons instead of North Koreans.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

| Georgia run off predictions on 11:06 - Jan 6 by Dr_Winston | China hasn't been Communist for decades. They've lifted far too many hundreds of millions of people out of poverty for any suggestion that they are to be taken in any way seriously. They'd still be starving to death in the countryside if they were. They are however very much Authoritarian, which isn't the same thing at all, regardless of what they still call themselves. |
You mean the Communist party that controls the land, the banks and the media... isn't a Communist party? Maybe tell the Chinese people... and the rest of the world then. They tend to disagree.

I think that is the reaction of fear. Haven’t seen a lot yet as just started my day here, but nobody was hurt right? Or attempted to be hurt? Can never excuse violence. But in terms of people’s reactions looking for answers, assurances or whatever. I would imagine we would see the same in Britain should such a day come when a party has a clear floor to force through their ideas which looks to take a big step towards socialism and change voting rules to ensure they stay in power. Biden has refused to answer the court packing question and said the people will see when the time comes. Scary answer.

All political parties try to put their "friends" into places of power. As an example, over here they put friends into the HOL. Trump appointed Supreme court judges. I don't see "when the time comes" as a scary answer, it's a pragmaticanswer, what if he hasn't completely decided yet? What if he's waiting for answers from people. What if he just doesn't want Trump to know?

Depends how you define violence. Lots of fear among politicians and considerable damage to the building. I’ve been following it closely - it’s harrowing. Sadly, one woman has been shot and is critically ill. I’m assuming she’s a protester but not sure. There has to be some culpability around Trump telling them to go there, tweeting emotively and then delaying calls for peace. Shocking and unsafe behaviour.

That’s not the same thing. Trump replaced judges, he didn’t add them. The Supreme Court has been max 10 judges (usually 9) for as long as anyone on this earth can remember. Judges get replaced when they step down/can no longer serve. However to add them simply because you don’t like the balance of power there in order to get a majority is a very foul move. It has nothing to do with Trump, the people have a right to know if he plans dictatorship.

I thought people intimidating politicians was fair game now? I hadn’t read a single dissenting voice on here regarding the Democrat supporters camping outside the houses of prominent politicians and screaming through loudspeakers for them to bow to their demands. It’s amazing that in the lead up to trying to seize power the country has been under attack for probably the last 12 months. Billions of dollars of damage, countless people injured, courts and government buildings genuinely under attack, police stations burned to the ground and land occupied and seized by armed groups who actually have murdered people in the process... barely a whisper. This is the danger when the media and Democrat supporters backs these actions for one side. The other side thinks they can do it too. With respect I don’t think I have seen you comment that any footage of the Dems doing this to a far worse degree is “harrowing”. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. As for my view. Damage and violence is never acceptable, people’s reactions born out of fear that doesn’t involve those things can’t be judged. You would have to be in their position to make a judgement, something I hope you and I are never in.

Violence is never acceptable. I’m not sure from the footage that those protesting are there due to tax and petrol hikes. More like they’ve been told repeatedly that they’ve been cheated out of an election and are reacting to the rhetoric- Cruz didn’t help earlier. This time they’re threatening those in their own party. I’ve got sympathy for Pence who was put in an awful position.

The same kind of nonsense that Trump, police force and the Republicans are racists and fascists maybe? Peddled by the media and even Biden himself. Causing billions of dollars of damage, dozens of deaths and dozens of Government buildings seized and damaged? These people support the Republicans because they know what the Dems currently stand for and what is likely to happen with them in power. Its a threat to their way of life. This faux shock and outrage at the Capitol situation when we have had the last 12 months we have had is something I can't abide. If people are appalled now then those same people should have been outspokenly appalled for the last 12 months. This is the political climate that has been allowed and encouraged for the past year.

Again, Tony Blair called himself Labour. The Chinese can call themselves what they like but as long as they embrace capitalist ideals, as they do with foreign trade, they are not exactly Communist poster boys...or girls! They aren't a Communist state because they call themselves one. They are... because they are. Lists of Communist states aren't collated why who calls themselves what, they are collated by political structure and imposed living. The Government owns every single scrap of land, nobody owns where they live. I haven't called them the poster boy for communism, I simply said they are a Communist State, which is a fact. You may have the opinion that while there is a veneer of capitalism there then they aren't one, but it is a definition the world does not recognise to be true.
