Lewis Bate would be a realistic Chelsea option.

Not good for the hard working team ethic at Swansea. Not liked by Klopp and not liked by Cooper either. Cooper likes grafters.

I don’t think we’ll need another striker now Morris looks like it’s done.

If it’s true there’s something big in pipeline then I’d like to think it’s in the middle. I think we need two players there to push us on and keep everyone on toes.

I honestly think if we got him we would go up, he would be a magnificent fit for our attack, the key if you like.

Well if I'm ever in a position to retake my seat at the Stadium then i can expect some lively discussions between myself and my next seat neighbour, he wasn't overly impressed with Pablo first time round and I don't think he's the type to have mellowed since .

Keep well away..injury prone. One season wonder. Wouldn't suit our style not mobile enough our forwards play with fluidity always moving, expensive. Can understand why no teams has touched him for couple seasons...

Not that we necessarily need a CM, it’s gone very quiet recently on Joey Allen & he’s now into last 17 months of his contract.

I think we do need a CM to be honest with you to take the workload off Grimes, Fulton and Smith.

That's a deal which wouldn't surprise me at all, Stoke need to drop the wage bill aswell.

If I was a betting man I would look at these factors. This is based on my gut feeling and my special football computing machine I keep in a safe in a wooden cabin in the forests above Resolven. Consider these factors kindly.

1) Swansea have a good link with Chelsea. Guehi, Gallagher.

2) Their valued player who was bambi on ice when he came with no experience is now the best central defender in the championship part of the meanest defence in UK football. 50 games or so under his belt. Handed to Swansea 1 year ago as a shy youth he is now 'the man'. Marc Guehi.

3) There was talk of an on going connection between Chelsea and Swansea but little sign of it this season with only Guehi. Guehi has joined a young professional group more interested in woodwork than cocaine and high jinks of various kinds .

4) Chelsea withdrew one of the prospects from a relagation battle last season to get their player invloved in play off and top table action. Gallagher.

5) Cooper goes for "top shelf" young players in the sporting sense and will not at this critical time go for a squad filler.

6) There is a vacancy at attacking midfielder and striker.

7) Chelsea have a teenage prospect with 5 appearance requiring a extended run of games but in a squad that has numerous world class talent in his position.

When you put those factors into the "Resolven algorithm" kept in a safe box some where in the forest there is one name that comes out with the highest probability factor.

Billy Gilmour.

The last 17 months of his contract. Huw Jenkins made a £8m 0ffer with 6 months on his contract and he signed for Stoke. The offer from Stoke was £13m. He did not need to go to Stoke. He chose to go to Stoke. He wanted to sign for Swansea so much he actually signed for Stoke twice.

This tells me he did not want to go to Swansea. Its tough to take I know for the prodigal son but there you go.

Ben Pearson at Preston has his contract coming to an end.

Celtic, Brentford and WBA apparently showing interest.

Would in my opinion be a perfect addition to our CM options.
