The EPL is a money tree though. All the wealth they have, the incredible wages being paid, even to the lower end earners and still they want more.
Last season Teemu Pukki was probably the lowest paid first team regular, guaranteed choice when fit. He was on 8k per week. David De Gea is on 375k per week.
So even a relative pauper gets 400k per year.
Bony just hasn't realised outside the EPL it's a different story, the Championship is closer to a Bankruptcy club than a money tree. | |
