Need Watford to drop 8pts, they may drop 5 or 6, but can't see them dropping 8pts, we can finish on 90 if we win our last 6 which include Watford away and Watford can finish on 97 if they win theirs, win lose or draw, we'll still need them to drop 8pts at least, whilst we win 6.
there's so many possible scenario's with us and Watford, but I can't see it happening, Brentford are in the mix as well |
Whilst I think the debate is broadly pedantic as I don’t see us winning all 6 we have left but IF we did & finished on 90 points then we’d have to hope Watford only pick up 7 further points (allowing for their much superior goal difference) from their 5 games - clearly they’d have to lose to us & you could see them lose to Norwich away so that leaves 3 matches Luton(a), Millwall (h) & Brentford (a) - guess you’d have to hope for a Brentford-Watford draw which would scupper the Bees chance too!

Sadly, although the win was nice yesterday,we could get beat at Hillsboro ,as they will fight like fury. We really don’t get much from teams that rough us up. And they will.

Reading v Cardiff this weekend, a draw there and a win for us and it's pretty much us guaranteed our P/O spot.
It's not top 6 but there's a big game tomorrow, Rotherham v Coventry, might be worth a look, there's lot riding on it.
If Coventry go down that's another fairly big club in the third tier, them, Wednesday, Sunderland, Ipswich, Portsmouth. | |

I never like to relax until it's a mathematical certainty!
Cardiff work hard but they have little quality. It's all about the high balls in the end. That said, we don't pose enough of a threat from high balls.
