| Cabango Sent Home on 14:21 - Apr 13 by jack247 | Thank you. All you had to say was that now you’ve got more information and know it was a pre arranged party, you do think he has a bad attitude. |
I know he has some bad attitude traits, there is no “think” about it. He just had police called to his house and may miss some games for breaking covid protocols and hosting a drunken party in a promotion run-in. Whether he has a bad attitude is yet to be determined, I don’t know him. But considering the scale of this and the effect it may have to our run in, it’s certainly a possibility. Sorry if that hurts you. [Post edited 13 Apr 2021 14:30]

| Cabango Sent Home on 13:32 - Apr 13 by Dr_Parnassus | Yep “may”, because we don’t know if it’s a wider problem. There is quite clearly some immaturity and unprofessionalism there, those are attitude traits. Risca has the same mentality as you where you are both annoyed because you cannot gain any ground on me in a debate. It’s frustrated you clearly, to the point you are making ridiculous arguments just to try and have the opposite. Hosting a party and breaking covid protocols in the middle of a promotion run in... is an attitude issue. Simple as that. You can disagree if you like because the opposite of that would mean conceding a previous discussion, but you won’t be winning many over by pretending this isn’t an attitude issue. That part is clear. Whether that is a part of Coopers decision making we can only guess however. But there is now evidence there that his decision making and maturity may not be up to the mark yet. Nobody can gain any ground on on this weirdo in a debate, at least not in his head. Truth is, the vast majority of people read his various exchanges and feel sorry for him.... ...before feeling sorry for themselves they've just read half hour of going around and around and around and..... ah I'm sure he gets idea, actually, he won't. He never will. But I do notice him cosying up to Keith which I find truly pathetic. | | | |

Spot on with your first sentence. Sadly lacking with the rest. Keith is a great fella, don’t be jealous.

| Cabango Sent Home on 14:14 - Apr 13 by Dr_Parnassus | Yep, really stupid. Unprofessional and immature too wasn’t it? Bad attitude traits on display. It wasn’t a spur of the moment decision as I initially thought either. It was a pre-meditated arranged party with plenty of time to consider the decision. That’s an attitude issue considering he is a professional footballer fully aware of the position we are in and the implications that may come with going ahead with such an act. There is absolutely a difference between an attitude issue and an attitude problem. An attitude issue could be something like not wanting to socialise with the team, but that’s not always a problem, things like that can be managed. You could argue however that these attitude issues have now caused a problem as he could well be out for x amount of games. Whether this will continue and show itself to be a further problem we can only hope not and put these issues down to age. I have explained whether I believe he has an attitude issue and/or an attitude problem very clearly in the 3 paragraphs you wanted me to condense into a single word. And in the many posts before it. Read it/them again is my suggestion. |

So there would be no police disciplinary, potential loss of job etc ? How do you know this ?

I said police, however. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ Someone just sent me this from Sussex Police. Officer: Sergeant Breach of standards of professional behaviour: Orders and instructions and discreditable conduct breach of Covid 19 regulations. Decision: Proven Outcome: Dismissed without notice. I’ve obviously redacted some of the info but it is public record otherwise it wouldn’t be on here. I think this alone proves they are held in far higher account. I’m pretty certain that won’t happen to Ben Cabango or indeed any other average Joe.

There was a high profile rugby player over here that got into serious bother with Covid breach rules and the pandemic is almost non existent over here. He was stood down immediately without pay for the rest of the season, forced into a 12 month mentoring programme and had to hit certain behavioural checks as a result or would have his contract torn up. The decision to do that suspended for 12 months. It’s no joke and very serious.

There was a high profile one here who attended a family christening or baby shower or something. He was suspended for two games then straight back in the side, as he was the best player in his position. Not sure if he’d have been treated differently if he was a fringe player. I do agree though, it’s a very serious breach and a terrible example to set.

I think you understood the point Jasper was making without looking for isolated examples though, and it's Patel's bag isn't it? Institutional cover ups are the order of the day.

Pangai Junior was probably the best player in the side, still is (he passed the 12 month club probation). A massive fan favourite. He has had certain people within the game label him as someone who will become the best rugby league player in the world. Like Cabango he was in his early 20’s at the time, a couple of years older than Ben.

So if you are a trainee prisoner officer you can get sacked for breaching Covid guidelines ? Answer is yes. It’s not about being upset, it’s about being sacked ! If you are a Sgt in Sussex police can you be sacked for breaching Covid guidelines. Answer is yes. This was my point. I’m unsure where the issue is. It’s pretty simple to grasp.

Cabango was on the plane to Italy and Azerbijan this summer for the biggest event in World sport this summer outside the Olympics and the Josha Fury dust up. His excellent showing v mexico will not have gone iunnoticed. Brandon Cooper, James Chester, Tom Lockyear will be giving itheir all to take his place,

He was very poor against Mexico, no wonder he had been dropped by the Swans and that Wales didn't pick him for their World Cup qualifiers.

I thought he was going to give a pen away (lucky he could not get close enough to kick them, lol) he could have given a goal away by giving needless free kicks away in attacking positions, he could have been booked/even sent off if it wasn't a friendly, he gave the ball away all the time, he was done for pace all the time, and all that was in the first half hour he did get better as the game progressed but you can see why Wales never picked him for the first team and why the Swans had dropped him. He is still young and will get better, he has presence which is important for a centre back and also has a goal in him, but as a Wales fan I spent the first half hour of that match shaking my head at his mistakes.
