Doubt they have different regulations in all the countries that use to make up Germany or Italy before they each became one united country in the 19th century. [Post edited 29 Dec 2021 13:07]

Actually I've read that in Germany all the states have different rules, different responses.

Well done the UK government for the foresight to order the vaccines first, developing the AstraZeneca then getting it into people's arms despite the antivaxers. Praise to all the doctors nurses and 100,000 of volunteers who also help plus the British forces whom are all this possible another example of the benefits of the United Kingdom. You omitted Gibraltar which tops the list which is also part of the UK vaccination programme.

Yeah but credit where it's due. Wales has done well with the vaccinations and we have to blame the Senedd for that success. Saying that, my son hasn't been called yet but they said all kids his age would get their jab by the half term holidays and that was several weeks back. Anybody else know of 13yr olds who haven't been called?

Cat. HNY. In my area 12 - 18 year old can make an appointment or walk up ( with a parent/guardian). So most have had their 2nd jabs by now. Not the same in your area?

To be honest I think this offering an appointment is a bit of a sham. Are you registered with a GP? If you are do they have your correct address? Health Boards useful GP records and if the GP has the wrong address or wrong telephone number they won’t be able to contact you. It’s surprising how many people don’t update their GP practice. Lots of areas are doing walk ups, so you should be able to get a vaccine just by turning up. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The WRU cannot afford to play 3 games behind closed doors. Hopefully Drakeford will listen to the science at let spectators attend outdoor sporting events. Otherwise the Welsh Rugby fans will travel to England in their 10s of thousands which eill result in millions of lost revenues for the Welsh economy.

Yet a player who has played less than 60 games for Wales, and is now playing in England, will not be picked.

Almost like pointless, arbitrary restrictions levelled against some parts of society and not others do nothing to stop the spread of a highly, highly infectious disease. Funny that.

France has a limit of 500 at their stadiums. Ireland has a 5000 limit. Scotland 500. So will they all play in England?

Of course she will praise Drakeford she and Drakeford are both Labour. What she will not do is praise her leader Keir Starmer apparently Starmer is not left wing enough unlike Drakeford a Corbyn acolyte who believes only he can make decisions as the population can not be trusted to make their own decisions.

While in Wales it is 49. So Scotland and France have 10 times more spectators and France has 100 times more spectators. What science is Drakeford following. Meanwhile virtually unrestricted crowds indoors for shopping. Even Caerphilly had 450 indoors to watch their match seated at tables of 6 with table service. Seems it was safer for 450 indoors than 49 outside pure madness from Drakeford. Park runs were also cancelled.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/ru Will this push Drakeford into a corner, the next statement from him is due tomorrow. I can't see any changes confirmed for the future, its just not his style. IMO the games will move to England and Drakeford will stand firm at the moment. In a months time he will look even more stupid, when you see the photos of thousands crossing the border on busses, full stadiums with Welsh supporters in and full pubs.

London Stadium would be the best way to go for WRU. The only challenge would be a 18hr turn around the France match and west ham vs Villa game. Fair play to the WRU for doing a flanker on Drakeford and co. and why shouldn't they, put all precautions in place, 5punked loads on covid pass machines and extra staff to run them only to be told its means nothing. Surprised our 'friends' in Newport and Cardiff haven't asked the 2 Bristol clubs but I suppose the EFL would have something to say about that.

Whether it's 50 at the Millennium, or 500 at Murray field, or 500 in the big French stadium, they are all doing the same. What's your views on France doing it?

Looks like it could be Spurs ground. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport Scotland considering a move also. Four-time British and Irish Lions coach Sir Ian McGeechan is eager to see the likes of Wales and Scotland–whom he coached in two separate stints–use neighbouring England as a makeshift headquarters. "The possibility of moving matches to English venues is certainly intriguing," he wrote in a recent Telegraph column. "For Scotland, where the maximum capacity at outdoor games is 500, and Wales, where no fans are allowed, the possibility of playing at St James’ Park (in Newcastle) or the Ricoh Arena (Coventry) would surely be preferable. "And there are currently no legal restrictions preventing fans from crossing the border.

This is exactly right. But is it better for the integrity of the Senedd for them to be played in Wales or moved. Supporters will travel to England, mix on route, mix in pubs, mix in the ground and travel back. So is Drakeford going to ban travel, not a chance, so the current Welsh ban is pointless.
