| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Mr Drakeford on 22:10 - Jun 22 with 818 views | felixstowe_jack | Seems Drakeford is blaming the lack of trains on Network Rail . The reason is of course the strike by the Rail Unions which Labour seem to be supporting with Labour MPs on pickets line. Perhaps Drakeford and Starmer should come out and condem the Industrial action.

Mr Drakeford on 07:19 - Jun 30 with 711 views | felixstowe_jack | Gwynedd County Council has applied to Westminster for money from the UK leveling up fund to build the Llanbedr bypass which was cancelled by the Senedd. Gwynedd County Council has also approached the owners of the 1200 properties, empty for more than a year, in an attempt to solve their housing shortage. Good to see a County Council being proactive to solve their problems rather then rely on the moribund Senedd.

Getting decisions down to a local level within a national framework makes sense. The empty housing initiative seems common sense. There's a house near us that has been empty for years, the owner died and the relatives that inherited it take no interest. The council could offer to rent it out for them?

Which most people will ignore if there's no cameras around.

As parking on pavements, ,all sound bites with no substance nor real importance to every day living but mention the economy, health service or health service ,nothing

Yep. It's almost as if they've realised that even though they've cocked everything up they'll still get elected, so instead of doing difficult stuff they've moved onto pet projects like forcing everyone to use state owned transport or the even more impossible "ending racism within ten years".

I think parking on pavements will be a major issue if brought in. Dive around many housing estates or villages with narrow streets and you find cars parked half on the kerb to keep the road clear for traffic. Remove this option and as there are no yellow lines cars will be parked on the road. The majority now have more cars than houses were built to accommodate.

If council tax increases are to be linked to revaluation then locals living in desirable tourist areas are going to take a hit.

Wales are way down the list of percentage of food bank users in the UK. Is it we are not so poor or are the Welsh population, with a high elderly population to proud? https://www.statista.com/statistics/382725/uk-foodbank-users-by-region/

There are also food banks in France, Italy and Germany. Those are just the three countries I googled. It's far from a British phenomenon.

My sister fair play to her gives up her time freely to deliver from the food bank distribution points and she's seen some real poverty and no 50 inch TVs in sight either . If martin Lewis is fearful for the future the I guess we all should be . A 3rd of a state pension is now expected to pay for fuel costs and that's at todays rates .

Most places aren't suitable for the cars of today, half of the SUV cars driven barely fit in parking spaces. Let alone leaving enough room on narrow roads. If they'd of been giving out tickets for parking on the pavement they would've made a killing down Aberavon at the weekend, shame they didnt bother to actually send anyone round
