Again though, we were discussing Wales and the Senedd, what happens in England where the Senedd has no powers is irrelevant to this conversation.

Yeah the stock "Welsh" answer seems to be whataboutthetories....shouted very quickly after any criticism of the Senedd or Drakers.
It shouldn't need pointing out that the devolved areas are run by the Senedd so the Senedd is culpable but some will always deflect. |

Yet again you fail to understand how the EU was funded. The UK was a net contributor to the EU budget . The EU then returned a very small amount of the UK contributions to the poorer UK regions including parts of Wales. Since we left the EU the regional development fund have stopped though some payments for EU schemes already approved continue e.g. heads of the valley scheme. Since 2020 when we left the EU funding to Wales has increased by far more than was lost. This is of course mainly due to the covoid pandemic with increaed NHS costs, vaccines cost, furlough payments etc all funded by t the UK government. This contines even now with extra billions give to cover extra costs of the energy crisis. | |

I'm not pro Conservative or Labour, but do you think the Senedd is doing enough for the whole of Wales in particular your area and West Wales. IMO it can not be a one fix solution for the whole of Wales, each area has its own problems and needs its own solutions. |

We're not talking abou England, classic diversionary whataboutery that is. We are talking about what a mess is being made in Wales by a Senedd that lavishes cash on the South east corner and lets most of the rest of Wales stagnate and die.
You don't need to be a tory to see it but you do have to take the blinkers off.
West Wales relies a lot on tourism but look what the Senedd did, stopped improving roads and yes, tourist tax. |

It is no secret that Labour ministers want to see people in Wales riding around in horse-drawn carts instead of modern methods of travel, but this latest scheme really does take the biscuit. By their own admission, this move could have a negative cost of £4.54 billion to the Welsh economy and cost more than £32 million to put in place.
If true that is absolutely shocking, the economy will suffer by 4.5 billion, how do they justify that? What about the guaranteed rse in pollution too? | |
