England will play their sixth game at Wembley during this tournament on Sunday. Home advantage enabling them to reach the final along with a favourable draw from qualification from their group.
Italy payed their opening three group games at the Stadio Olympic in Rome. They then played at the Allianz in Germany and have played two games at Wembley. Sunday’s final will be their third game at Wembley.

Reality is : 3-1 England, unfortunately.
Far too much power, collective intent (fans fervency ++) and inner belief for the flaky Italians.
- Stodgy Rice and fiery Philips will shut the door - Kane will totally boss Chiellini AND Bonucci, taking them both out of the game - allowing Sterling et al to destruct - Maguire bossing the defensive line and pushing on a la Moore

I’ve got a mate in my swans WhatsApp group who is in the ground with his missus. Said it’s kicking off in there and around him is ‘grim’.
He’s not prone to hyperbole so I hope everyone is safe in there tonight.
In France five years back they were animals after the game, sadly until confronted, I didn’t witness one decent England fan after the game. They were throwing bottles in to the Welsh followers watching outside, my son in law ended up in hospital the next day after a vodka bottle full of water hit him on the head. And yes I know there are many off all nationalities the same, but they have the monopoly on cowardice in those situations.

Strangely, I can't begrudge them really. In fact I don't feel at all engaged. The wheel turns every 55 years or so. Well, except for the 55 years before 1966, obviously.

It's truly uncanny isn't it. It's almost as though Southgate has been watching The Swans the last two seasons 😉
Of course the massive difference is that England has an out n out proper CF who has made (and always makes) all the difference.
The resemblance in playing strategy and ongoing tactics is remarkable : - controlled defensive mastery - the goal was how Roberts and Bidwell look for each other in the box - even Pickford's long passes into touch in the opposing half to gain territory - superior inner belief - etc etc
Let's hope Italy can find some inner belief to make a game of this.
