Not a novel but I can certainly recommend a book of his. I had no idea until recently that the author and the Mark Drakeford of the Welsh Assembly were one and the same chap, it came as quite a surprise!
I bought this back in the ‘90s, it’s a full length study of John Hargraves’ Greenshirt Movement. An exploration of the personalities and ideas behind the philosophy of Social Credit. It’s a curious thing to see a Labour First Minister write with sympathy about an ideology that would, I imagine, be today regarded as radical right, if not alt-right - though without any racial connotations it should be stressed.
Here it is anyway. If you can manage to track down a copy it would probably be awfully expensive but your local library could certainly source a copy.

Track and Trace, worst value in the world. Competence ?

I think you have missed the point . Boris has said he want to meet all the leaders of all the devolved UK regions to discuss together the post pandemic recovery. Makes more sense than 3 seperate meetings so a UK wide policy can be agreed.
