75% of 16 /17 year olds have now been vaccinated in Powys.
Dont tell Stumpy, he will have kittens.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Just as there has been no verification on the data on other vaccines for the last 20 years which it is compared to.
I don't care if you and scotia do not accept the VAERs and EU data, there are many who do and work with the data, because it is what we have.

But, there is growing evidence that VAERS is being targeted with falsified reporting. This questions it’s utility for any study

So you believe everything your told or is reported on when it suits the narrative but any opposing views are complete balony and unfounded rubbish from anti vaxxers.
You are no professor, professor's would have and be able to give a balanced view. You just sound like a brainwashed paid bot.

Come on what's your real job?

Ronald, I am sure that he is a real professor, the problem is everything he views is based on his choice of profession and who he knows to the exclusion of everything else.
He refuses to accept any other "professor" or professional regardless of what field they are in even if it is the subject being discussed.
As if highly educated people cannot read the science, the clinical studies or know when they are being lied to, even when there is glaring evidence.

Professor. Institute for Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences, University of Liverpool

What you tin foil hat nutters don’t get that is the balanced view. Base d on science . Not MSM and not the idiocy you believe There are people out there who would express the views of ongoing restrictions and mandatory vaccination. This is the view of over 90% of scientists and medics.

Now get a life you idiotic WUM

You two do not have the combined intelligence level of an average amoeba.
You are so utterly outgunned interlectually it is painful to see.
Here's a tip from an old one.Pick your fights or squabbles carefully and when losing don't the hole any deeper.

Paul, just as well hate speech is "banned "from this site as these two chaps really need a volley of invective.

Their attitude are killing people-literally.

ask them this

How would they have dealt with covid and what should we do now.

That usually shuts them up dead.

I've told you time after time what the answer is. You pretend to have me on ignore and fail to respond. The reason for that is because you haven't got a clue, you've let the government mind control and chinese style propaganda scare you into giving up your freedoms without as much as a whimper, granted you are not the only one,
lets just thank the lord people like you weren't around in the world wars otherwise we'd all be speaking german.

Good news that over 12s are going to be offered a single dose of the vaccine.

Just need the unvaccinated 10% of adults, especially in London to get a jab.

The governments own dataas posted in the DM.
The risk of being admitted to ICU for under 16s
Fit & Healthy = 2 per million
Unhealthy = 100 per million
Myocarditis alone (many other adverse effects)
First dose = 3 to 17 per million
second dose = 12 to 34 per million

So you are suggesting taking chances with children's lives when they stand less chance of being injured by COVID
Shame on you and the government.

Get your facts tight they are not having a second dose.
Unlike in the EU where overs 12s in Italy France and Ireland have been getting vaccines for weeks and are getting two doses.

Our children need a good education not being sent home every few weeks. Once they fall behind they will catch up .

For every million doses given to over 12s it will reduce hospital admissions by 87 and ITU admissions by 2.

It estimated there may by between 3 and 17 very mild heart inflammations per 1 million over 12s which is actually lower than the side effects of catching coronavirus.

And the blood clots, neurological damage, Gillian Barr syndrome?
They don't talk about those do they?
Therefore you don't know about them.
I suggest you try looking at the USA & DO data to see what happens to the kids, you might learn something.

We have talked about this with our 12 year old. We agreed that we'd find out all the facts, look at the odds and while we may tell him we think he should get jabbed we are leaving the final choice up to him. We already know he probably can't have the AZ because of his food allergy. We will get expert medical opinion before making any decision.

It annoys me when people make out there are so many adverse reactions as if every reaction is life threatening. The vast majority of reactions are so minor most of us don't even notice and I've seen it said a few times that Covid carries more chance of myocarditis than the jab does.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Look at the relative risks Cat. Things which may be statistically significant increases of adverse effects are still tiny. The annual risk of Guillain-Barré syndrome is about 1 in 6
Million. Vaccination charges that to about 1 in 3 million. Eating chicken is a bigger risk as most cases are a consequence of foodborne infection-Campylobacter from chicken.

And yes you are right that the risk of mycocarditis is about seven time greater from infection. Serious adverse events are extremely rare, but discuss it with your boy and be aware of any risks.

So how come kids are going to be safe after just one dose, when everyone else needs 2 doses, along with ongoing boosters?

That was posted on here on Saturday. It's not really relevant and isn't a legitmate comparison.

Myocarditis is far more common after covid infection than after receiving the vaccine and in the majority of cases doesn't need anything other than over the counter treatments.

So they are not likely to be hospitalised by COVID, but they are more likely to catch COVID and get a heart condition from it, than from the vaccine?
Any studies on that available?

OK, but if they are all getting vaccinated, then there will be 100% of them at risk of getting the heart condition.
100% of them aren't going to catch covid.
