I did think Ampadu would make a fine centre half one day, but he has too many mistakes in him for that. His head goes and you can see another daft decision coming. Safer in midfield.

We controlled the game with 75% purposeful possession in the first half, commandingly deserved of a dominant 1-0 lead.
2nd half, desperate Estonia inevitably came at us.
Page implements Controlled Defending from Cooper's manual. Cleverly protecting a 1-0 away lead. With aplomb.
The standard of football analysis here is regressing, much like Martine's ineffective performances and woeful results.
At least the travelling red wall could see, and sing us to a controlled, effective and efficient away win in a match we needed to Win.

I do hope Martine is watching how Page plays effective and efficient football - getting the best out of his resources, with the players playing for the badge as perhaps a key edge. Something we had in spades last two terms.

So Martin now has Page and the tapes from the past two seasons to study and emulate the winning ways.
