The current state of our collective health has caused this pandemic to be far worse that it could have been. Instead of getting to the root of the problem, for example highlighting how obesity is a massive factor in hospitalisations, you would rather lock down predominantly healthy, young individuals. Individuals who every day, make the right diet, exercise and lifestyle decisions.
This is the problem with humanity. We willfully ignore this permanent, underlying issue staring us in our fat faces. You are part of that problem with dross like that. And when another pandemic looms, we'll be in the same position - ill-equipped to deal with what should be moderate viruses and infections for younger and middle-aged people.

It’s a sh*t allegory as well you know - vaccinated persons can contract, suffer from and transmit the virus as well as unvaccinated people.
The best policy for health workers is not a compulsory vaccine - it’s improved Covid screening for both vaxxed and unvaxxed to provide real assurance for anyone in hospital who’s awaiting treatment, or in a care home or receiving home visits.
Same should go for nightclubs, football stadiums , gigs etc etc. |  |
