The discussion is the number of people currently getting, spreading COVID19 and ending up in Hospital and ICU.

Its a lot less than 90%, something like 80% of the population aged over 12 years of age is fully vaccinated, so if you take kids etc in to account its around 70%.
More of the unvaccinated are now starting to slowly come forward for vaccination, the main drivers in the changes are revolve around restrictions on foreign travel without being fully vaccinated, employers insisting on staff getting vaccinated and members of the public insisting that only vaccinated tradespeople work on their premises.
I don’t think vaccination rates will get up to much more than 75% of the total population, but it remains to be seen. | | | |
