If you worked in a job that requires vaccination on 21:00 - Nov 12 by Catullus
The problem is screening isn't instant. get a PCR test and it's 72 hours til a result and the LFt's aren't good enough, not reliable enough.
I could agree with screening if it was good enough.
The thing about everybody being vaccinated would be, the vulnerable person will be safer if a Covid positive staff member or visitor came to them. That is the big point isn't it. We have t live with this virus and the vaccine will mitigate it's worst effets.
Only immediately after vaccination, then it wanes. What you need is NHS staff that have had COVID.

Pity you ignore me as we are on the same hymn sheet here.
Wife goes in for an Op next month and I dont want an unvaxed member of staff given the remotet possibility of getting covid. She's 69 and I reckon should be allowed to live for some time yet and not as Stump suggests simply be allowed to die as she is -to him-old.
Old people have as much right to live as young.
You are absolutely stark raving bonkers Show me one post where i've suggested what you claim Everytime I ask you to prove it you fail to deliver Blatant liar straight out of the old bill hymnbook

Is it wrong? How much less likely (apart from the much parroted “significantly” )?
I’m all for the science if it backs up what you’re saying.
Even so, there’s still a risk, minuscule or massive - unless you’re saying otherwise.
Yes.
Apparently about 60% less likely to contract covid at all, and therefore be contagious 2 weeks after the second dose, dropping to something like 45% after six months. This is based on a AZ vaccine.

But no where near as often as Vaccinated people, I suggest you read the science.
I suggest you speak to front line NHS staff, this will give you a true picture. I have family who are front line NHS and prefer to go by what they say from experience.

Like others on here you base your understanding of the whole situation on a few individuals rather than look at the whole picture. As they say "ignorance is bliss".

The few individuals statement is rubbish and not a fact. The whole picture is what is seen across wards, hospitals and trusts, that is a fact. You need to stop reading internet propaganda and live in the real world and draw you own conclusions.

MRS CJ was the only one on her wars at Morriston that didn't get the Virus

It was Scientific Studies, you stick with your anecdotal evidence. I will stick with the science thankyou.
