I often agree with some of your posts and understand your political slant but regardless of your party support. you should understand there are quite a lot of hard working members of society who have carried & felt the brunt of this pandemic , just normal folk who in the main are law abiding and will do as instructed. Some Tory MPs personal behaviour particularly cabinet members throughout the past 2 years have shown that they're not worthy to represent their constituents and this latest trail of deceit will put our recovery from the pandemic back months, Do you think anyone is now going to abide by yet another set of "regulations" when our "betters" show such disdain and arrogance to those who put them in power .
This country need a complete reset and that means the whole political system , how to go about it I couldn't say but there's not one current party I would or could vote for and I suspect there are now many hundreds of thousands who feel the same way . | |

In a true democracy, if the will of the people is for him to resign, then he should. The pressure is growing. Even his own backbenchers are turning against him. If enough of them see him as a liability, they will do something. The letters of no confidence are building up.
We only need a General election to vote in a new party, a party can get rid of it's leader whenever enough of them want it.

I’d say they are doing their public duty and reporting on issues which are of significant public interest. It’s essential that we have a free and independent press who can investigate and hold politicians etc to account because if we don’t we’ll end up like China.

Macron is hardly a person to take that seriously, he's a clown too. He jumps about and shouts like a child to try and get his own way.
