Yes I have and it's due to his inexperience and lack of contacts compared to Winter. Viable considerations / facts?

He may have other qualities which outweigh these, I don't know. That's what I'm asking - what are these qualities?

I'm asking what he's bringing to the task, which is extremely focused on the subject.

Come Januarys end we can review yes, but that's a different process. That can still happen. It's not one or the other.

Oh dear, little chief, you're Chieftain badge is ever slipping.

Putting your faith in Wunter vs a Silverstein, someone with some proper skin in the game is laughable, and says so much about your level of understanding.

Always on the outside pishing in - it's what you do. Grow a pair, look more objectively at the bigger picture.

You always seem to be the one asking questions. You rarely proffer. Anything.

And WTF are you to be continuously challenging others of their opinions and Facts when all you can offer is lame critique.

You constantly derail threads, always.

'chief' is clearly a misnomer. Find another, more apt, username.

Kaplan and Levein actually had skin in the game (they actually bought shares not just loaned money) and still appointed Bob Bradley and oversaw the shambolic summer of Siggy / Clucas. It means little if you simply don't have the skills to undertake the task at hand.

Winter not an independently rich man has a very well paid job which presumably he'd want to keep - that's skin in the game too.

I'll ignore the rest of the waffle, but noted. Game on AC, game on.

Time to turn the tables on little 'chief'. Here's your moment.......

Let's see whether you can ever take a benefit over the doubt scenario, however it's presented to you here by previous proper deep dive research and analysis.

- What do you think Silverstein's qualities may be, over and above the hapless Wunter of discontent ?
- Why do you think Cooper moved onwards and upwards, after hapless Wunter failed in his primary task of retaining our best young manager in umpteen years ?
- Why do you think hapless Wunter is pumping so much cash in his hapless Martine project, to desperately save some credibility ?
- Have you ever looked into Wunter's eyes when he's being interviewed ? All over the shop - what did you think ?
- Did you see Martine's first presser with Wunter ? Did you not see Wunter's last gasp desperation and deflection onto Martin ? Was that as fickle to you as it was to the best of us ?

- What should Martine do now, ably supported by Wunter to turnaround performances and results to get back to our historical benchmark performance of Top 4 and beyond ?

- a nice manner and pleasant attitude? Winter can come across as dour (maybe not a weakness in negotiation. But I'm guessing, I don't know what he brings to the table. It seems no one else does outside the club either.
- I think Winter didn't appreciate Cooper's outspoken demeanor when asking for a striker&stuff like going public over Peterson. He couldn't pull the trigger while we had a chance of going up so paid him off after the play off final, holding on hoping someone would poach Cooper.
- Winter isn't pumping any cash in. He's a club employee, not an investor.
- His eyes seem normal to me.
- Didn't notice that and still do not know what incident you're referring to.
- probably go back to the best starting 11 (bidwell in, Manning at CB, Downes at cm, drop Williams etc) and nag for a new keeper.

Enjoyable interview that, thanks.

You failed, miserably on the first count, 'chief'.

And secondly this: ' I think Winter didn't appreciate Cooper's outspoken demeanor when asking for a striker&stuff'

That has to be the stupidest of stupid things you could say, out loud, in front of so many, on a Swans fans forum.

The rest of your diatribe is worse than amateur, I can't possibly lower myself to comment further.

Enjoyable ? Heck off. Grow up and do your research.

You need to earn the right before criticising others. 'chief'.

Some specific musings / points / observations:

- What was the 'first count' you speak of?

- Whys that "stupid'? Seems entirely plausible. I didn't say it out loud, I typed it.

- Amateur - yes, unfortunately I'm not a professional forum poster, I don't get paid. "Can't possibly lower myself to comment further" - Yet you do you continue to comment further.

- Yes, discussing footballing matters. Can you clarify which part of what I said was factually incorrect so I can go and research further please? Also could you hone in on which part was supposedly immature? In addition I'm not conversant with the phrase "Heck off". What does it mean?

- Anyone is free to criticise anyone else. It's a football forum.

A general point - you seem to have forgotten to address any of the points in my previous post directly. Feel free to revisit to do that. Also nothing on Silverstein in your post, on a Silverstein thread. Not great forum decorum.

Thanks, an enjoyable critique that.

I'm currently indifferent to it, he's a successful businessman (well his family is), but while Winters dealings in my opinion have been questionable, at least he's an experienced operator in dealing with clubs at this level, in this country. Silverstein certainly isn't.

What in particular reassures you then Keith?

Both of them working together most certainly.

Ok so there's a sense that having Silverstein there could streamline the process further then. In fairness the Resloven one did suggest that too and it's a potential advantage I take on board.

And talking of "lame critique" yet another gloriously self indulgent and hugely ironic post.

Asking questions is called having a pair, only the "sheeple" follow blindly and unquestioningly.

As for skin in the game, Silverstein is making profit off his "investment" but Winter has a job to lose, that is certainly skin in this game.

The big irony, you always challenge others opinions, you always belittle opposing points of view, so ask yourself that question, show some self awareness.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Saving judgement until the January window is done. The MLS is nothing like British football with regards to transfer dealings, maybe it’s a bit of an apprenticeship/PR exercise for Jake before He steps up.

£5,000,000 is actually a lot of money for anyone to loan out. It is a quarter of the club turnover of £20m paying 300 local people.

That's the worrying thing for me. £5million is a lot to Swansea City. I don't want the club gambling on taking on loans of these kind of figures.

A loan eh.
I see today Spurs still owe 5 million.
Just look at the way our club is being run.
Owners with zero pot
We have made many millions of profit in a, relatively short time yet now are looking at Fleetwood Town for players

One Jamie Vardy was signed from Fleetwood. £1m to Leicester city. He was seen as a nippy lower league goalscorer who probably would struggle to get games in the big leagues

So it won't.Ok
In that case,we have to look at Milton Keynes then.

Not that long ago Keith we were buying players from Tottenham not flogging our players for a sale and it would seem actually not getting the funds paid up front in full from one of the richest club owners in the world.

We take this lying down..

For balance we did also sell, so our net spend wasn't much and we also got rid of a huge amount off the wage bill.
